Since when did Mordor create a portable version Sauron's Eye?
Suzuka brings me good memories...

Demon Racing Suzuka preview

The Demon Racing squad are bringing some hi powered Holden engines to the famous, and much loved Suzuka circuit. A bit of R&D development for the engines this round, with uncertainty on the reliability, but either way, we hope to learn the strengths of the car and engine.
Our performance in Melbourne was encouraging. Some good signs on the strength of our drivers, with a bit of bad luck mixed in. It was hard to gauge where the team truly sits, but hopefully some good performaces in Suzuka will push us on and we can aim high for this season.

We look forward to the coming action at Suzuka, with important big knobs from our sponsor Canon, sure to be in attendance.

I really, really hope that my weekend at Suzuka will be a lot better than the one in Melbourne. :-O

First podium: S8 Australian GP - 3rd at Testers sprint race
We are very optimistic before Suzuka - here at Demon Racing
Buhh... I hate Suzuka... :(

Looking forward to Suzuka, a tricky and fast track, and hopefully the new spec Audi will continue to shine :-)

They had a backup ever since the Fellowship started its journey. Mordor, in fact, still exists somewhere in the Australian desert. They use koalas as spies. ;)

Don't reveal our secrets or you might disappear to the desert for a while haha

Agreed, I'm hoping to be pushing for a podium here in Suzuka! To be honest its not one of my favourite circuits, but if we get the car hooked up nicely, anything is possible!

Free Practice

Good morning race fans and welcome to Suzuka for the Friday morning free practice. The test drivers assemble here after their antics in the Sprint race in Melbourne. Conditions here look excellent, so lets get on with the action.

Nathan McGregor is fittingly first out of the pits to show off his team's new car.

And obviously Nathan is first to set a benchmark.

Elleker goes nearly half a second faster in the KFR.

Domenech will be disappointed to be 7 tenths down.

Schieder makes it a MAC 2-3.

Thomas hustles his Shadow into 2nd.

Daniel Mills shows no shame in running in pink yet again and takes 2nd from Thomas.

MPR's Silvestre is still finding his feet in his new team.

Sebastian Nell grabs 2nd from the shameless Mills.

Chris Copeman will be very happy with 2nd.

De Bruyker grabs 4th.

Glen Sheppard puts in a solid banker in 7th place.

Stoddart leads out the second group of cars and snatches 1st in his Snake.

O'Brien in 2nd.

MPR will be disappointed that both their cars are outside the top 5 as Santilal takes 6th fastest time.

De Boer slips into 4th.

Jo-Anne Hayes struggles to 12th.

Christopher Hinz uses his boost well and steals 1st from Stoddart.

Kittleson streaks into 3rd.

Karjalainen takes the wooden spoon.

Van Smirren will be very unhappy with 18th position.

4th place for Jack Hunsley creates loud cheers on his radio and on the JHR pitwall.

Grant powers her way to 12th in the VSM.

Schieder gets the 3rd runs under way by moving up two places to 17th.

Nell pedals his Demon into 1st place.

McGregor moves up 8 places to 10th.

Silvestre improves but remains in 19th.

Sheppard can't match his team mate's pace, but manages to move up two.

Thomas climbs a massive 14th places to 2nd.

O'Brien moves up two to 5th position.

Van Smirren struggles up to 17th from 19th.

Hayes moves into 12th.

Keeley Grant moves into the top ten with 8th place.

Kittleson makes it a Shadow 2-3.

Karjalainen drops the wooden spoon into Domenech's lap and scampers into 14th.

Sheppard moves up 10 positions to 7th place.

Domenech quickly gets rid of the wooden spoon and hands it to Silvestre.

Mills creeps shamelessly into 13th.

Maikel de Boer climbs to 10th place.

Congratulations to Sebastian Nell and Demon Racing. Our next broadcast will bring you the qualifying session for the Japanese Grand Prix.

Stay tuned for the Official results.

Boost well spent. That is all :)

Here's hoping Ruben and Tobi have just as a good a weekend as Dan and I have had!

Not really good for us, yet the weekend just started and things can go way better :-)

My GPGSL Career
Quite pleased with that, a significant improvement from both Chris and I with both cars in the top 12.

Hopefully we can continue this form in quali :)

Great result for Dean & Dan, they've collected some great data that hopefully should help us over the rest of the weekend!

Decent result, not too happy yet though!

Nice coverage!
