Thanks Jake. Like Matteo I wanted to go for something different this time. Yet I can't deny that the influence of a few beers is very visible ;-) But since I still liked it when I was sober again, I figured I should go with it ;)

I'm really loving the SCR and all the helmets here :-) superb job guys!

I have a new design somewhere but I'll wait for ONE's livery to color it up.

Demon Racing Team Launch announcement.

Demon Racing expect to launch their Season 9 contender, anywhere in the range of October 4th to October 14th.
A spokesman for the team said it all depends on the availability of the local hall : We know the locals have a bingo night booked, plus the boy scouts and girl guides each have bookings. Also led to believe the local bikie gang has a booking as well....
"With limited gaps in the schedule to hire the town hall, we will be fitting in with others - there is no way in hell we will risk upsetting the bikie gang. Far worse than them though, we will NOT upset the bingo night..."
The team spokesman went on to say that the Demon Racing team will present both their race and test drivers, and their respective liveries, in good time.....

Wow, i have really been misled on these numbers for DMR. I saw some post last week, where i was sure DMR was listed as 40 and 41. Guess i will be sending the DMR number painters back to paint shop, to through these "new" numbers on the test cars.

Wait, the test numbers have changed? Then that means I need to go and edit the test numbers on the SCR and send it in to Turbo Lover.

Thanks Stu,

Like others, I'd seen a couple of different versions of the test numbers - These make sense though

With Christel dropping out, shouldn't it be
MAC - 22,23 - 51,52
JHR - 24,25 - 53,54
?

Hmmm, think we need some GPGSL official decision on these test numbers, to solve the confusion! Currently, i have the DMR showing 40 and 41 numbers.... I am not overly fussed which numbers we should have, as long as they are "right" according to the series. DMR will run whatever numbers we are meant to run.

Sorry Tobi, you're right, I'd forgotten to adjust the numbers to account for Christel leaving the series.

Revised list of numbers:

VSM - 7,8 - 35,36
MPR - 1,2 - 37,38

SCR - 11,12 - 41,42
SMM - 14,15 - 43,44
TNR - 16,17 - 45,46
DMR - 18,19 - 47,48
MAC - 22,23 - 51,52
JHR - 24,25 - 53,54

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian

Wait, what? We've never done it like that; ONE only ended up with the 24 & 25 last season for convenience after ART pulled out at the last minute.

It was my understanding that the 24/25 numbers would only go to a team if they replaced a team mid-season...

No, because before the end of last season Christel VXR already stated the will leave the series where ART left the series after the car numbers were handed out and everyone already painted their cars.

Looking back at S8 we made a mistake by giving ONE race numbers 24 & 25, because these car numbers were already taken by AMR as test numbers lol.

In that light I understand Stu's decision that the test numbers are now beginning with 31 & 32 instead of 24 & 25 in case we get another last minute drop out.
