Needless to say that I'll keep my current helmet design for the upcoming season. Love it, maybe I'll ask someone to paint one just like that IRL. I love it!

Not keen on JHR, not very original. Way too much like the TNR with too much alpha layer and the previous TSS.

Be bold and go for different colour combinations!

+1 on changing the blue for red.

The Alpha layer isn't Jack's fault, but the result of my render scene. It's hard to make black cars look realistic and the best way so far has been to make them a bit shinier than cars in other colors. The car that will be seen in-game won't be as shiny. Just for Jack's defense...

Oh no! I didn't mean the render, that looks fantastic :)

I meant the grey/blue/white colours, colour banding, banding locations and Total sponsorship of JHR make it look too much like a knock off TNR (albeit with a shiny alpha layer) layer mixed with the old TSS.

Would like to see a bit more of a uniqueness and this relaunched.

I request a Car Of Shame for TNR for the entire season for these comments.

What do you mean, knock-off TNR? I thought the TNR was pink and yellow...;)

Don't think that is exactly on Dan.

The JHR shares more than a passing resemblance to the Season 4 TSS, but I don't see how it looks like the TNR. The JHR base colour is dark blue, rather than charcoal grey in the case of the TNR, and the blue is also distinctly different between the two. While in terms of sponsors there are only so many places you can put them on this shape.

They will clearly look different on track.

While I think red would be a better alternative than the neon blue, that will then make the car look very similar to the Southern Cross car.

If Jack genuinely thinks a re-design is in need then fine, but I don't think it fair to demand he do so.

If a re-design is needed then it is not too late to make a deal with the shady characters from Martini, Jack. ;)

Surely its a honour if you feel somebody has copied your design, which I don't think JHR have.

I have to agree there. Liking or not liking a livery is everybody's choice. But Jack has put a lot of time in this design and that should be appreciated. I like the design a lot (just not how you messed with the renders later, Jack ;) I'm still open to make you new ones with the adjustments you made if you send me the file) and I'm glad that something similar to the S4 TSS is back, cause that was a brilliant design, too. But accusing somebody of 'stealing' a design or even worse demanding a re-design for that reason is over the top.

I don't think anyone's accusing of stealing lol. I certainly wasn't the first person to ever put blue and white together haha! The JHR is a brilliant UNIQUE livery - I can't see any reason for negative comments :)

FINALLY, someone who is willing to speak there mind. It's well and good to
blow smoke up peoples a**'s but sometimes a livery just looks bad.

I respect Dan for saying what he actually thinks, I have seen way to many
cars that are less than average and been heaped with praise, it's all well
and good to be nice but come on people, if its bad, dont be afraid to say so.

Please send me your livery in psd-format. Thanks.

Regardless, I'm a fan of the JHR and I'm sure others here are too.

Anyway Nath, you're something of a graphic designer, no? Anyway, I'm sure you know all too well about the values of constructive criticism. When team owners often produce their liveries, people will offer a bit of advice or what they think would work. For example, I posted a provisional Pulsar Racing Team livery a while back just to get some feedback and everyone was very helpful in offering ideas and opinions. It's now something that I'd be incredibly proud to present when I eventually pick up a team in the future.

At the end of the day though; whether anyone else likes it or not, it's still up for the team owner to decide. For example, I'd love to see you get your crayons out again for a slightly revised MAC, but ultimately it's your choice whether you stick or twist.

You are all cordially invited to the launch of Martini Paddock Racing's Season 9 challenger in Turin.

No expense has been spared as MPR prepare to launch the car to claim the team's first Constructors' Championship.

Defending Drivers' Champion Ed Greenhalgh shall be present, alongside Charrel Jalving, Monil Santilal and Gigi Silverstre.

It is certain to be one of the events of the season, so whatever you do, be in Turin.

Catering? Catering? Surely the question is who is charge of the alcohol?

But don't worry we've got that one all wrapped up.
