Thanx a lot! New D2010-style is amazing. (Y)
But I also faced the similar problem as javifast, Atticus, josekast and Rot described. So i'll just wait for a 4.11

Not at the moment. I don't know the exact location of the zone.

For now, I've implemented solution 3. The director's choices are also reflected in the screen info now.
If anyone prefers to scroll through positions during director's cut without leaving this mode, please say so, and I'll only do it for 'S' and 'B'.

Okay. Thanks for your answer.
Is this available in the next update for the gpxpatch or not? [img6.imageshack.us]

Before I implement it, I need more input about how it should work with the bottom standings. For example, the new standings can be like the standings in the older modes, and the bottom standings can then always be under director's control, scrolling through positions automatically, and only hidden when the user activates the new standings. Just an idea, but maybe people prefer the bottom standings as it is now.

Here you go: [gp4notebook.blogspot.it]

I like it very much, I use Samuele's versions since about 2009. So far I had no problem with it.

Hi, mclarenaustralia persuaded me to implement it by sending the graphics (though they're not his :)), a video of a full qualify and race, and a lot of screenshots. He also did some testing and gave feedback about what should be in it and what not.

I've tested the HUD 2012 and I can't see any problem. I selected the 4:3 version because GPxPatch scales it to whatever resolution now. The font version looks right to me. The .tga version has the throttle and brake below the HUD instead of inside, but this is explicitly specified in the HUD (bug in the HUD?), it was already this way with older GPxPatch versions.
Maybe the HUD is too small? This was also already the case with the 4:3 version. I'm sure Samuele can fix that. And it should not be necessary to have two versions (4:3 and 16:9) anymore.

Here is what it looks like on my screen (16:10 resolution):

@René: Thanks for the check and the additional info. I didn't know it was specified in the HUD to place the Throttle and Brake below the rest of the display.

Hi mates,
i didnt remember this bug in hud 2012, maybe it was my mistake compiling the long ini file for tga version.
Please try to overwrite your hud2012_1 ini file with this and let me know ;)

thank you Samuele, it's correct now with the new hud ini :)

René, do you think it's possible to make the red and green arrows blinking for the position changes and for entering or leaving the pits?

Guys, you're using horrible file sharing sites :) But thanks for fixing it, Samuele. I assume the HUD is ok now? I also suggest to use the new color blending feature for the font version. If you have problems with it don't hesitate to contact me.

As for the red and green arrows blinking: it can be added, but it doesn't have high priority. And I'm not sure what is blinking when entering or leaving the pits?
