AWESOME!!! Great work rené!! :D

Just a couple of points from initial tests :)
1. When the drivers' names are capitalised, the character 'é' remains lowercase, and so I imagine do all other accented letters;
2. Capitals in team names ignored, for example if you had 'RBR' it would show up as 'Rbr';
3. No three_letter_codes.ini, or am I just being silly?
4. In quali, if I am correct, a flag appears by your name through two rules:
A) The driver has laps<2, or
B) The driver has laps<3 && he's in pits.
This works until you get the situation where the driver may want to do just an outlap and an inlap to test a set-up change for example, and so the flag disappears when they return to the circuit :/ I think the flag is pretty definitive, and once on should remain on til the end.

I hope that didn't sound too negative, I'm incredibly thankful for all your work, honest!! ;)

Respect (Y)

Thanks!

About the issues:
1. I also noticed this, but I depend on the C runtime library here. I can try some things.
2. How would I know if RBR should be all capitals? :) But I'm not lowercasing anything, so if you write RBR using an external name editor or using a performance text file, it should stay that way.
3. You can specify them in gpxpdata\drivers.ini (as explained in the docs), but its format is different than three_letter_codes.ini.
4. I'll see if this can be fixed.

1. Ah fair enough, Digital 2004 could manage it I believe, when the accented letter was the first one (meaning it was capitalised) would that not be from the same library?
2. Oh, really? That's weird :S I'm using a performance file, and it converts them into lowercase :/
3. Ah thanks a lot, sorry..!
4. Good good, I shouldn't worry too much, I doubt many would even notice it. :) (Except now that I've pointed it out!) ;)

Incredible screenshots Kimi.

Thanks so much for this Rene, I never thought that I would see this in GP4.

You've breathed new life into GP4 once again.

I have a problem. I'm using digital mode for my 2001 mod. And the hud, etc, is not in the right place now. Is that normal?? If I change the resolution it scales to a different place.

1. Ok, I'll look into it. Yes, same library.
2. Hmm, this must be a last minute change :) Last night I fixed the problem that e.g. "force india" became "Force india" instead of "Force India", but while fixing this I also lowercased the rest...

@javifast: the scaling for HUDs (GPxCInfo) has changed. In the previous version HUDs would be stretched (from 1024x768) and this changed their aspect ratio because most resolutions are widescreen nowadays. Their aspect ratio is now maintained, but existing HUDs might be in a slightly other position now. Which HUD are you using?

I'm using 2001 Digital TV Revmeter v 1.10 hud Gabriele A. Profeta aka gap and another personal signs for blue and yellow flags messages

In 1024x768 resolution is ok,...but in 1280x1024 for example is a bit up
