If it goes upward in 1280x1024, then the HUD is aligned to the top instead of the bottom. Is it really a big problem? It's not easy to get it right for all different resolutions without stretching. I'm sure this HUD looked deformed in widescreen before, which is what most people are using. Maybe I should add a panel setting that tells to scale the old or new way.

a guide "how to edit panels" will be really nice... especially because with some old mods such the 1991 some panels are still in 4/3 and i don't have a clue how put them without messing up everything in 16/9... meanwhile some others are fine and not stretched anymore

1991 mod: here the problem is more edivent. Text are not aligin with defpanel, plus the blackbox under the number is missing

1995 mod. Here things are better, just need to cover all edges.

As for the panels, I think the new one looks better (not stretched). The only problem is that it isn't centered. What I can do is add a setting to scale in three different ways:

1. Stretch (pre 4.10).
2. Move to the edges (4.10).
3. Center.

This will then be available in 4.11.

I also fixed the uppercasing of non-ascii character (é, ü, etc.). It was some stupid mistake in the C++ code (I have been coding Java for too long...).
Not lowercasing characters already in uppercase is fixed too.

This will probably be available later this week (so I can fix some more bugs that will certainly show up :).

A big thank you for the greatest tool in history of gp4.

I found a "failure" in the latest gpxpatch version. The director modus doesn't work in the last laps. I can switch the next page of the standings.

Absolutely great. Stunning visuals, feels even more like an up-to-date 2013 game. Except for the tracks I drive, ehhehehehe - however, I have to update all of them due to the new expanded GPxTrack features. (I upgraded GPxPatch from 3.93.)

I have an issue similar to the ones above. I use the HUD 2012 Normal Version 4:3 kmh by Samuele (great work as well :-)), and it is not appropriately scaled. The Throttle and the Brake boxes are larger than the rest of the HUD, and are too down compared to their real placement. I hope this is a detailed enough explanation. I tried the 2001 version, same issue. It is not a major one though, it detracts only slightly from the experience.

@MiSeRy: Are these two bugs or one? I don't see why it would not work in the last laps.
I can fix the 'V' key in multiple ways:
1. Disable the 'V' key during director's cut.
2. Don't gray out the 'V' key in the screen info and allow manual scrolling during during director's cut.
3. Enable 'S', 'V', and 'B' in the screen info during director's cut, and disable director's cut once any of those keys is pressed, next to their normal function.

Please choose :)

@Atticus: Where I can I download that HUD?

It was my fault and not a failure of 4.10. I don't know that the V-key during director's cut scrolling threw the pages.

What a fantastic new release... Thank you very much SDI, it's great that you can continue developing GPxPatch and keep it up to date. Thank you again :)
