i cannot play the game using gpxpatch,it crashes.

no,i am using an old desktop with a 128 mb ati radeon graphics card,its not the same laptop where is used to play gp4.
are u saying thats why gpxpatch is crashing because of physical memory?

did you diseabled the loading bar in gpxset? if i remember correctly, that's important for radeon graphic cards to prevent crashes with gpxpatch

GPxPatch cannot load all extensions. Please include the other logs too.

PS: please upgrade to GPxPatch 4.02 too.

It crashes in a GPxPatch, but I'm puzzled why it crashes there. It's related to DirectX. Could you please post gpxpdata\log\gpxpatch.log?

Do you have a soundcard? Does it have 3D sound support? Is sound enabled in GP4?

So you play without sound? I guess the conclusion is that GPxPatch doesn't work without a soundcard. I'll try to support 'no sound' in the next version.

Unbelievable in what speed you are able to fix all bugs (Y)!
GPxPatch is maybe the best tool available for GP4. Thank you so much for keeping GP4 still up-to-date (Y)!
