Not when you use this extension ;-)

Cool thx, I gave up on mine because I couldn't get clear shots of the legs :-)

Posters could be on a seperate mesh and yours could be an alternative.

I've just been tidying up the Mclaren garage, poly count is pretty high...around 1500. With 12 garages averaging 1500 polys, that would be a tight squeeze on some of the tracks that are hitting the poycount limit. (180,000....ish).

There's plenty polys that can go from this model, mainly from the light structure and the centre console, poly hungry shapes, It's the curves that are the killers :-)

Layout of new garage interior structure, I added some sliding doors at the entrance and roof beams and lights.
I also raised the ceiling height to give a much bigger impression of space and scale.
Preview is on Sketchfab so you can run around :-) (Toggle the First Person by clicking the little running man at the bottom, then use W,A,S,D & Mouse)

Here's the Mclaren Layout, all this is within the boundaries of the original GP4 garage, I guess they were just oversized ;-)
I think there should be no problem adjusting Pit Buildings to accommodate the extra ceiling height.
Link takes you to 3D preview on Sketchfab.

I messed with a few lighting tests today, and baked the result into the textures.
As usual the link takes you to a 3D preview.

You're a professional artist? Tremendous stuff really, especially the 3D walk through. (Y)

Thanks Ruben, I wouldn't consider myself a "professional" artist, although I do work as a 3D Visual Artist (I'm Always Available For Private Projects ;-)).

The 3D walkthroughs are great to share previews of my work with people, but very easy to do, I click an icon in Max, and a custom exporter does the rest, saving mesh and textures, then archiving and uploading it to the Sketchfab server, pretty neat setup.

All info and exporters are available Here

I just uploaded an new scene, this is the full pitlane and will be added to as I finish each garage. I'm going to furnish this with the new Melbourne structures to give it a bit of life, and later on Singapore.

Thanks guys, your comments keep me motivated :-) Sometimes things are very quiet , especially on GP4Dev facebook ;-)

Could I get some feedback, I'm having a transparency issue with the Sketchfab service and was wanting to know how it was looking for you guys.
Here's what I see....

Could you check it out and tell me how it displays for you ?

thanks

Sorry I messed up the link, it takes you to the 3D preview now.

White planes, semi transparent fence. But when I restart firefox it suddenly looked normal, though you could still see through metal parts which is great cos I felt like super hero. :-)

Thx Vlad, it's the same for me, seems to be very random in what it does, this will help track down the problem, at least it seems to be erratic for everyone.
I'm waiting on a response from the Sketchfab Devs.
