Do you want to run the upcoming race?

I can run it, but the coverage will be on only by friday

Okay, so if I understood correctly Connor has desappeared and Greg did the boost deadline if I'm correct. That makes more sense to me.
If that's the case, Greg please accept my apologies if I've been a little bit too harsh.
If you have to do it once again in the future it would be better to add a message inviting us to submit boost and usually we have one week or two to do so.
On the perfs side, I don't mind. Do what people prefer, current boost, zeroed boost or extended submission boost, that doesn't really matter, we're just playing a game after all.

Yeah I missed the deadline as well, seems to be misscommunication. Guess I got more points for the remaining races then ;-)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

@Eric, I didn't post the deadline. I only directed the race. I don't know who put the deadline in the thread name.

GPGNC seems to be in a state of total confusion. No one to control it, no one updating the points / boost tables, and no one seemingly aware of who/when made a hurried "non" announcement of the boost applications.
I can't be too critical, as i have had no time to RD or anything. Just seems to have lost it's mojo, this series. Sad really. Hopefully things can get back into a regular, consistent routine, as the concept of the GPGNC is pretty cool!

Hopefully Connor can get back on soon to clear up this mess.

GPG Nations Cup Round 12 - Fiji Grand Prix - Melbourne

The performance deadline for Round 12 at Melbourne in Australia is the end of Friday 27th September. Everyone is to send their performance request to the GPG-Nations-Cup account, or here if you want an extra shortcut. Please set the subject title of your message as "Round 12 - Fiji Grand Prix - (Your Country Name)". In your message please state explicitly how much you allocate for Qualifying and how much you allocate for the Race (e.g. Qualifying: 500, Race: 500). If you submit one number, qualifying and race performance will be exactly half of that value.

Grand Prix/Country/Track/Rain Percentage/Winner:

GPGNC Round 11 - France/Magny Cours - Official Championship Standings

Round 11 Activity Check

Three players were inactive for the period over which Round 10 was held:

Spain (Incident 2k9) - 1st warning
Finland (oensan) - 2nd warning

1st warning - 50 race/quali penalty
2nd warning - 100 race/quali penalty
3rd warning - 250 race/quali penalty + possible kick out

All penalties shall be applied in round 11.

Work has kept me away from the internet, big project rolling around so has been difficult to check in. Regardless I wouldn't have planned to post anything sooner anyway. Tables were planned for this weekend and I would have posting the boost deadline this weekend too as required, with only a week break (long i know but not unheard of in any series). The setting of the deadlines the last few weeks has been uncommunicated to me which is frustrating.

As posted above (once again i have absolutely no clue who has posted the deadline! Tables were by me), the deadline shall be 27/09 and I plan to run this round.

Dont worry Connor, work is way more important then a game

PS: In the "Round 11 Activity Check" there are some texts saying round 10, and the number of players who received a warning are two, not three ;)

Seems pretty stupid to penalise a lack of activity in this series, when actual on track activity is sporadic, at best....
My theory, everyone MUST be active at some point during/after the qual and race. Otherwise, there is very little to comment on....

Greg that's how the activity check works? It measure who has/hasn't commented since the last check after the last race, so includes the entire qualifying/race window? As slow as the of track goings on are, the window is definitely large enough with enough reason to comment.

@natasp dammit ok ill correct those ;). Trying to get it out quickly so missed all the normal formatting.

I am fully aware of the rules regarding activity. I dont think i have EVER been penalised (maybe 1 time?) in all my GPGSL/GPGNC career - and that time was probably here in GPGNC when absolutely nothing seemed to happen for a month or so...

My take on it all, if the races are going to be run on a regular basis (every 2-3 weeks?), YES perfectly fine and acceptable that all entrants should be able to post. If things drag on for weeks between races, and even during the race itself, well.... so be it.

And please dont mistake me for Greg O'Brien..... I am me, not him...(H)

Sorry Glen! Early morning mixed with messaging on a train is a bad combination!

I will admit your probably one of the best in terms of activity, that I agree with ;). For me I think the penalties are fair as there is plenty of scope to comment in. If the window was over an empty period I would very much understand that being unjust, unfortunately that is not the case. If there is a general disagreement activity rules can be looked at in regards to next season.
