GPG Nations Cup Round 2 - Japanese Grand Prix - Suzuka

The performance deadline for Round 2 at Suzuka in Japan is the end of Friday 19th October. Everyone is to send their performance request to the GPG-Nations-Cup account, or here if you want an extra shortcut. Please set the subject title of your message as "Round 2 - Japan - (Your Country Name)". In your message please state explicitly how much you allocate for Qualifying and how much you allocate for the Race (e.g. Qualifying: 500, Race: 500). If you submit one number, qualifying and race performance will be exactly half of that value.

Bulgarian team is ready for a new podium attack this race.

Team Fiji has been very busy in the build up to the Japanese race, with the team exploring some interesting hydrodynamic ideas just off the main island of Viti Levu and seeing if they'd translate to aerodynamic improvements to the F1-J1.

Head Engineer Rupeni Vidiri says "While some of what we discovered has absolutely no use on the track, we are keen to explore this snorkel idea, although the flipper-diffuser will need ratification by the governing body."

The French team boss has instructed driver Jean Girard to be a little more like current French F1 superstar, Romain G, and be aggressive in the first lap...we need to have a stellar qualifying session in Japan, and get a good haul of points. A last place finish at the season opener was unacceptable....

Reports say that the "Flipper Diffuser" idea proposed by Team Fiji could be ratified within days, on the condition that it would be banned should any underwater tracks make the calendar in future seasons.

The rumours of a "Romain G" device by the French were however followed by a quick press release stating: "No such device or similar incredibly dangerous tool will ever be allowed in the sport."
