MS moved twice he was doing the same last year as well, lewis done well to avoid it.

Button did see lewis but just took the line maybe he thought lewis would not pass, when lewis made the move button was looking in the other mirror. Button was so slow he was all over the place.

Oh the joys of the random commentry whilst there is the red flag. "Do birds have shoulders? Oh its a grey shouldered seagull"

I think Button didn't want to just let Hamilton breeze by, as he's been criticised for doing this in the past. This is sort of like Webber/Vettel at Turkey 2010, Webber couldn't afford the psychological loss of letting Vettel by easily again.

This race is going no-where any time soon. The good news is that it's a relatively early start (1pm local time) and sunset is 8:45pm local time. It's 14:45pm now. Still plenty of time to restart if the weather clears.

He did, but 1) he wasn't defending, as he didn't know Hamilton was there (he didn't appear to look in his mirror... which might be more cause for complaint than the move itself) and 2) it's what drivers do that - defend on the straight, then move across in the braking zone.

Hamilton didn't complain about it when interviewed, did he? I can't remember.

If there's a restart it'll be interesting to see if Vettel could do the same as he did at the first two starts that he was 2-3 secs quicker per lap than everyone, and then after 3-4 laps he fell back to the same laptimes.

Think Hamilton seemed a touch embarrased. Will the BBC carry on despite rest of the schedule or revert to red button? Could still wait for four plus hours to restart

He did not but how can he after whats happened lol. It was the same as what MS done to Massa last last year. I did not think you could do that in a braking zone but whatever.

just sayin' Button is 2secs quicker than Vettel and 4 secs quicker than Schumi.

stunning grand prix now, great action!

This double DRS zone defies all logic though, as if you pass before the chicance, you can use it again and your further than 1 second ahead, so the guy you overtook stands no chance. A bit silly.

What a weekend of motorsport!

When Button was penalised and was sent to the back of the grid, I thought to myself now that'd be a nice job to win from there!
Though I'm a bit angry about Alonso..

what a race . I had enough time during the break to go and get a pizza enjoyed the rest of the race with that and some beer.
