I think it looks better from the side.

Casa I don't think this is the final livery. You'd think that a "brand new title sponsor" which effectively pays Perez's wages would be given more space. I seem to recall them saying the livery launch would be later?

I haven't seen any mentions that this isn't the final livery.

James Allen mentioned that a world-famous Mexican beer company is looking to join the team (Corona?), and there have been rumours in the past about Panasonic coming onboard, so hopefully there are some changes before Bahrain.

I loved the Sauber, it's the most beautiful car since they were sponsored by Petronas (not counting the BMWs). Also, it looks like they've put a lot of effort in the front wing, the little flap on the sides (the one sponsored by Telmex logo) now is divided into two. I think they are following Renault's steps and they will change some flaps in every GP, not just in GPs like Monaco or Monza.

And the "Malaysian Lotus" or whatever is very similar in shape. They adopted the MGP air intake, and they have reduced the size of the lateral intakes. But the livery is very nice. I'd love to see poor Trulli back in the first six or eight places, or at least to pass to Q2 more often.

Renault launched - no real surprises after the livery launch and the leaked pictures yesterday.



Also, they've brought in Bruno Senna as a third test driver behind Grosjean and Fauzy. Another move from Bahar to link in to the history of Lotus...

Rear wing is nice I suppose. Livery, lose the red dag nabbit.

Who's the guy on the left? I'm surprised to see Ho-Pin Tung still being involved in the team..

I believe it's Petrov --> Bruno Senna? --> Grosjean --> Tung --> Kubica.


Looks like Senna anyway.


EDIT: Just saw ShueyFan's post. Shorray. What does Fauzy look like? It's either Petrov or Fauzy I dunno.

Surprisingly nice car that Renault, I thought it would be a lot more ugly than that. I think the sponsors actually make it look better...

And I have to join the camp that thinks the Sauber is beautiful. It seems like a niche car, but I like the extra red in the livery now.


EDIT: Although I think that the Renault would look a lot better if they only used a red box around the total logos, like on the overalls.

I second loque. Paint the red spots in black and put a f**** white Total logo.

@Ed, There are no major changes but there are two differences. Look this leaked pic:

The Shark wing is missing and the nose is different.

I love the car. The nose derfinitely look like F10's, but the car is much more smooth than ever.

Front wing, rear wing and engine cover are different. Black makes it hard to tell but the leaked pic is either last years wings on this years car or last years car with this years livery.

That was probably last year's shape then.

The one on the left is Jan Charouz. I think he and Tung are the development drivers, with Grosjean, Senna and Fauzy being test drivers.

The Sauber c30 carshape look stunning, look better than Ferrari.........The livery look horrendous......Sauber must have the world’s laziest designer.
With new sponsors I expected them to have a new livery. I can’t believe they’ve got exactly the same, what a let down.

I looked at that quite closely yesterday, I think it's an R30 with a slightly modified rear wing, maybe testing the new rear wing adjust

I've had a lot of looking around and can't find the exhaust, seems quite a lot of work under the back of the nose so it could be there
My first thought is that it was in the engine cover hidden inside a little, but not sure
