so, Alonso is 11 points ahead from Webber. I see something like Webber-Kubica-Alonso. Maybe Kubica 1st :) Also i want some strong performances from Massa, the Saubers and as it is interlagos, we would have a wacky race, so, I want a Lotus in the points!

This race will be interesting. Out of the people fighting for the title only Webber has won this race, the rest have never really been that great on the track.

Alonso and Vettel will really have to watch their engines so I am not really expecting Alonso to win.

For some reason I think Lewis will win this race, not sure why just feel he will and take the fight to the final race.

AAlonso really is in the prime seat. He has dominated this final quarter. The guy should extend his lead IMO. He wont win it here, but I think he'll make his job in Abu Dhabi a hell of a lot easier. I will miss all sessions except i think... As much as id like a Mclaren to win the WDC and WCC. I think Brazil will kill their chances of both.

Mclaren have done well with an OK car. Ferrari and RBR have simply developed quicker cars, and thier drivers have made good use. This WDC is now between Webber and Alonso. I cant really see Vettel overhauling Alonso (maybe Webber).

Ideally, Massa wins this race with Rubens 2nd, Senna 3rd, di Grassi 4th and Piquet makes a supprise appearance and finishes 5th. But thats probably not going to happen.

What could happen still is a Massa win. And I would love to see that. I just hope if he is first, and Alonso 2nd, ferrari has the respect to let him win, and he has the balls TO win! If he is 3rd, with Alonso 4th then thats another matter, but if he's winning Ferrari must let him win.

Here's an interesting fact:

In Brazil, altering the result of an sporting event is a crime punishable by law. If Felipe Massa (for example) lets Alonso go by, he can be arrested right after the race.

Whoa, is that really true? But they would have to arrest Domenicali too, because he gives the order. At least that is my opinion, and I'd really love to see Domenicali in jail ;-(

Seriously, if Ferrari really needs to let Alonso 1st, they could try to do it more carefully this time, like in 2007. However, I'd prefer Webber for World Champion because this can be his last chance, whereas Alonso has won the championship twice, Button and Hamilton once each, and Vettel is young, so he has lots of opportunities ahead of him.

The best thing is that here in Uruguay the race is on TV in the afternoon, which is more comfortable than having to wake up early!!! ;)

This weekend you can see upscaled F1 coverage. It's not quite full HD quality but it will look supersharp on BBC One HD channel!

Just saw it too, going along with what I wrote. Felipe would be arrested for fraud, I don't know what would happen with Alonso and Domenicali.

Not going to happen. If it happens at all, then they'll do it 2007 style rather than 2010 style.

And that's assuming Massa was ahead of Alonso... and while he's led his previous 3 races here, he didn't have an absolutely dominant Alonso as a teammate in any of them.

so Felipinho would have been arrested in 2007?

Some interesting mind games from the drivers today.

Webber said that Red Bull favoured Vettel
Vettel said that he and Webber could never be friends in the future
Alonso said that "A win for Felipe would be very welcome" and that he would be happy with two Massa-led 1-2 finishes in Brazil and Abu Dhabi.

He did beat Kimi, who was in top form in 2007 though, but whether that's close to Alonso is a different argument

Don't forget Massa was clearly ahead of Alonso at Istanbul this year, so his performance on his favoured tracks can have an impact.

Webber is being a bit sily saying all that stuff tbh, it is not the type of stuff to say when your in a tight battle.

If he does win the championship I have a feeling he will retire.

Its Klien and Bruno at HRT this weekend as well.

I agree. He should just shut up, there is no possible way making comments like these is going to help him.
