Looking at my cache of Racingcircuits.net, I'm surprised at how much changed for the A1-Ring. Despite watching all the Zeltweg-era races, I wasn't aware just how scaled-back it was - I was under the impression the first 3 straights were shortened by a few hundred metres and the corners refined, but it's completely different. There are 3 sections of straight which have parts born on the old track and no corners use the same tarmac, except the right-hander on the exit of those double left-handers (named Lauda and Berger).
I used to really enjoy the A1-Ring on GPx, though for whatever reason, we've never raced Zeltweg in Vader Trophy yet, which is strange, as we've raced all the classic tracks... other than Imola now I think of it. Indeed, as I'm bored, I've listed the ones we've raced below. :D
