Don't ruin these peoples' day dreams.. ;)

I really don't understand how it is anyhow better to be in F1 (or anywhere near it) only because of name instead of beeing there with help of money. No one of current drivers got till there without having sponsors. This Senna is just Piquer Jr #2 if even that.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

I hope that bump at 11 stays.

Mclaren looks dead awful through it though, as does the Virgin!

I like the layout alot.

A few things from FP, the guys who topped the sheets, Vettel, Lewis and Kubica. Well, what a difference between them. Vettel made it look like a Sunday stroll whilst both Lewis and Kubica looked really attacking! Kubica's onboard was awesome to watch!

Early signs point to RBR romp off, but who would have said otherwise?

Hopefully in FP2 we get a better idea of who's who.

Nice new front wing from Virigin too. It seems every team is copying at least one aspect of the RBR car.

Pleasantly surprised by the new section. Most (all?) of the mistakes today were around there, and it's great to see a new ballsy corner that is Abbey. Can't wait to see the drivers tiptoe through that corner with full fuel at the beginning of the race :P

If anything, I think they've enhanced the circuit rather than neutered it... I never liked the Abbey chicane anyway! Plus, it's nice to see that they're still using gravel traps and grass rather than pure asphalt. This is probably one of the better track updates for a while, after getting used to tracks being ruined.

A lot of drivers are moaning about a bump at Abbey, wonder is they will try and make it better for tomorrow.

Has anyone seen the changes to the Mclaren as I cannot watch as I am at work.

A mate told me that Ferrari and Merc look really bad, is this true?

i dont think ferrari and mercedes are bad. At least for Alonso i know cause i did this everytime. In free prac he was not with the best and then he came out of nowhere and had the same speed as the others so chill. about mercedes i think they were still testing something but 6th and 9th isnt that bad at the mo. Renault looks strong with robert and vitaly struggles a bit but we will see

He is at the track and just text to say the Merc looks like its bouncing all over the place, he also said the ferrari looks like it has bad over steer.

I hate not being able to watch it :(

Also Bruno is meant to have quit HRT.

Is the new complex available to spectate from general access tickets or is grandstand only?

Lot's of mistakes from drivers today!

I think I very much disagree with both Croft and Ant about RBR. I think they look as dominant, if not more dominant than last year.

I'd hope that Mclaren ran with alot of fuel today because Jense just looked slow, and Lewis was twitchy!

So far looks like perfect racing weather though :)!

I can see mclaren taking off the new rear end, lewis could not keep the car on the track. If button was having the same problems that would explain the gap bewteen them, lewis will push and risk and off button wont.

Yamamoto is to slow, I dont think he should be allowed torace 7 seconds off the pace is to much.

as they come out of copse and down to the becketts complex they go over the white pit lane line. will that cause issues with cars exiting the pits in race?

Yamamoto is only .5 faster than a GP2 car, thats how slow he is. He is not fit either its just wrong that he will race.

Where's the problem? They'll just have to go around the cars exiting the pits. It's a non-issue. :\

LMAO!

Anyways, on to practise, and it looks like it'll be a very close weekend. The new layout looks like it's working nicely so far, and the bumps are creating a good challenge - Lewis for one looks like he's been pushing hard to find his limits on that piece of track, can't wait to see him there during quali and the race.
The Merc looks pretty horrible there.
Looks like there are a few kerbs and bumps on other parts of the track too which could catch out drivers all weekend.
