Yep, 1981-83. They could be hard to tell apart from a distance. Same with the Ferraris and Dallaras in the late 80s/early 90s. It happens from time to time.

The Lotus is looking good. Finally we got a green car back in the grid.

Bit of a delayed reaction this I know, but yeah, the Lotus looks absolutely gorgeous, the nostalgic livery is sweet. 2010 is seeming more and more like it's been through a multiple timewarp from various past classic F1 eras!

hey i just read that Alonso say the F10 is the best car he ever driven. I am happy with that but i dont think he is right cause the best car he ever driven was the R26 (best car ever) in my opinion. But you can read the Article yourself Alonso about F10

was just looking at some overhead shots of the cars, and I must say, I think Williams is vastly being overlooked on the beauty scale!

i think mclaren just about ounces it, but their livery aids it.

I LOVE these shots of the car, look how small the angle makes the rear look! :O :D

and also, how long since we have had such a diverse looking grid in terms of livery and carshapes? :D

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Of-course you know best because you've driven both cars extensively :P

Enjoy the diversity before everyone conforms and converges on a RedBull replica for next year :p

I think the RedBull type low deck was a natural progression which came with the longer-wheelbases...

But apart from the STR, visually only the Virgin, and Williams greatly resemble the RBR and maybe partly Mclaren. Whilst the rest have gone totally different or developed from 09. With only per-reg diffuses allowed next year a great design variable will be closed. Take FI for example, their car is totally different to anything else, and as you'd expect because of that so is their diffuser design. Sauber too. Not one design is remotley similar.

There's no doubting that Newey's choice of a low-deck exposing the lower-rear wing element was the way forward for single-deck diffuser cars. His car was miles in front of the rest. When Ferrari and Renault complained about Brawn and the DDD it made them look very silly indeed. They somehow blanked out the fact that the RBR was also a million seconds quicker.

oh yeah! now this season will be nice to see!! only 2 white cars! and it might be only the Force India if Sauber gets a mayor sponsorship! and we have a yellow and a green car since... 2004? also, a black car since minardi is gone. we only need an orange car and the grid would look as if we have used LSD ;)

Its amazing how quick things can turn around. The only real white cars are the FI and Sauber (which to be fair, is likely to change once he gets some sponsors). Compared to last year of BMW, Renault, Toyota, FI, Brawn all being mostly white.

Campos/Kolles and/or US-F1 might be white, if either of them get to the grid.

Stefan has said his car will be red though.
