They have this on RaceDepartment, and I think we've had it before. But let's see if it works here :)

Basically, post a picture, and let others guess the track, the year, and that year's world champion. (That's my addition).

Really good game and nice brain teaser.

No cheating by looking at file names either :)

Looks like an oil drum in the bottom left corner. Silverstone? A stout looking gentleman driving. Ascari? Gonzalez? No clue about the year though

Yes, you're correct about track and driver - Silverstone, Ascari... The year might be difficult. I'll leave this till morning, if there's nothing, I'll reveal all the details :)

Ooh, I love threads like this!
OK, a nice easy one:

Driver, Circuit, Year. And no looking at the filename!

Track is definitely Monaco. The car is a March...hmm. 1971 is the year. Could it be Ronnie Peterson driving? Hmm.

OK, so it's a Ferrari. I think it could be Gilles Villenueve. But I'm not completely certain on that. Track; I have no idea. If it's Villenueve, it must be 1980 (nope) 1981 (possibly) 1982 (most likely). Still thinking here.

Driver: Gilles Villeneuve
Circuit: Zolder
Year: 1978
Champ: Mario Andretti

Not too tricky :P It's approaching the first chicane at Zolder, and it's one of the most iconic helmets ever. Pretty sure it's 1978 as I think thats the T3 chassis.

If I'm right then somebody else can post a pic.
