That's the place Innes Ireland went straight on, through the 'barrier' and down the bank, through the trees. No one noticed, so he had to climb back up the bank again to find a marshal... with 2 broken legs.

Innes Ireland has some epic accidents. Didn't he manage to select the wrong gear at Monaco once and ended up being ejected from his car in the tunnel?

Is that the corner just after the hairpin, near the start of the lap, which was flat out despite turning almost 180 degrees?

JJ Lehto in what I'd guess would be a 1993 McLaren. Haven't a clue about the track.
