LOL@ this translation, the last line.

''Mercedes made right with the Finn Kimi Raikkonen for season 2010 of Formula 1. The revelation was made by journalist Lito Cavalcanti, of the SporTV, in the afternoon of this Wednesday.

The agreement was closed in the same day where Jenson Button confirmed that he would not be in the team of the German assembly plant, that bought Brawn GP and changed the name of the teams. The current champion of the World-wide one of Pilots was announced officially as pilot of the McLaren in 2010 also in this Wednesday.

The act of contract of Raikkonen, champion of the F-1 in 2007, ends the rumors of that the Finn would not pilot in the category most important of motoring in 2010. In this fourth, its entrepreneur said to the British periodical “The Independent” that Raikkonen, frustrated for not making right with the McLaren, would take off vacation of Formula 1.

The Finn, thus, will come back to pilot an car stimulated for the engines of the German plant. In its ticket for the McLaren, of 2002 the 2006, the British team used propellants of Mercedes.''

apparantly it seems this 'Lito' guy is claiming Mercedes have signed Kimi before Mclaren signed Button... mor eor less the same time.

except Mercedes haven't announced it. but with the driver lineup supposedly released soon, this could be amazing. im sure theyll announce both drivers as a double whammy, and Haug has stated there would be 'surprises' and not to expect an all german team. this fits the bill totally.

it also goes with the 'expect surprises' - the surprise being we thought kimi would be in a mclaren, and it was button, and if not he would step out for a year, and he wouldn't.

if kimi is in that other mercedes with rosberg, my god are we in for a hell of a season. it's like the 80's all over again! :D

But Michael Shcumacher's manager announced that he '100%' wouldn't drive for Ferrari after Massa's crash... and what happened? Within the next few days he announced that he would drive with them.

I'm very disappointed. My heart hopes that he will return, but my mind whispers that he won't be back. He left because the driving itself is no more the most important thing in this sport and he hates everything else. I feel sorry for this decision, but I love him because he is that simple guy still who he always was. He doesn't make compromises like most of the drivers - McLaren and Ferrari are the only top teams for him, and he doesn't want to race elsewhere. He doesn't care about the money, believe it or not. The freedom is what really matters. McLaren wanted him to be part of the PR-@#$%&, but he couldn't accept it, because he told he won't. He is a proud, upstanding, fair guy. He kept what he said.

You have to be strong to stand up and leave what you've fought for during 9 years, leave the sport what meaned life for you, millions of fans, who followed every motion of you. He left the sport what he lived for. You have to be brave to make such a decision, especially if you know that you could won races or championships still.

Best wishes Kimi Räikkönen. I enjoyed every curve, overtaking, win or defeat. Thank you that I could seen every moment of your career, I could be proud of you, I could cross my fingers for you, and I could be there and see you at 21 October, 2007 when you attained your greatest dream.

Thanks for everything Kimi!

Bleacher Report:

'Kimi Raikkonen To Race For Mercedes In 2010'

ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - NOVEMBER 01: Kimi Raikkonen of Finland and Ferrari attends the drivers parade before the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit on November 1, 2009 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A reputable source on Brazilian SporTV has stated that Kimi Raikkonen has finalized a deal to race for the new Mercedes Grand Prix outfit for 2010. He is reported to have finalized the deal on the same day that Button finalized his deal with McLaren.

This news if accurate, puts to rest the rumors of Kimi taking a sabbatical in 2010. His main requirement was to be in a car which he thinks is capable of fighting for the title and with the success of Ross Brawn's outfit in 2009, there is much reason to believe that the newly named team will be capable of defending the titles they achieved in 2010.

The credibility of the source behind this news has been proved various times this year so look out for the news to hit the English medium shortly! ''

There's been one source. One which has no clear connections to any party. It hardly bodes well. :P
