Going back to the Michael Schumacher number 3 thing....here's a good pub quiz question.

What is the only formula 1 race that Michael Schumacher raced with an even number?

Alice? Alice? Who the %^&* is Alice?

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

I couldn't "know" the answer, but given that he's been a number one driver in every single race except his debut, it doesn't take a genius to guess. :)

P.S. Another trivia quesion; MS in F1, 1991 - 2010. A driver who has raced in 3 different decades, spanning 19 years. How many other drivers can lay claim to this accolade?

Barrichello, Patrese, Fisichella, Trulli, De La Rosa. Prost perhaps?

Ironically, Jordan actually had the numbers 32 and 33 in 1991...so he still took the first number!

And for the other question....even De La Rosa is entering his 3rd decade....although he hasn't been around in F1 for 19 years!

Edit: Oops, De La Rosa has been mentioned!

Is De la Rosa the driver to have been in the most decades but with the least number of seasons raced?

This is his 5th year isnt it?

Yes, 5th or 6th.

Did Roberto Moreno ever take part in a race in the 1970's? If he did, he mightbeat De La Rosa to that claim.

Anyway, interesting mix of drivers from the past 2 decades this year...plus one or two from this decade. Wonder which members of the 2010 grid will be on the 2020 grid?

F1 driver's careers can take some funny and twisting routes!

Jan Lammers, Mario Andretti, Jean Alesi, Johnny Herbert

and probably many more

I was thinking about Lammers too, but wasn't sure. I didn't know Herbert raced in the 80s either!

Jack Brabham. Graham Hill. And surprising that nobody's mentioned Piquet Snr yet - Hockenheim 1978 to Adelaide 1991.

So not quite. Prost's debut was Argentina 1980.

I remember, before Schumacher decided to come back, there were various facts and figures flying about concerning records that Barrichello would beat sometime during this year - 300 races being one of them. Another one was beating Graham Hill's record of the longest spanning career - i.e. the time span between the first event the driver takes part in and the last one, irrespective of what happens in between. I think it stands to reason that, as long as he makes the grid (which is highly likely to happen), then Schumacher will smash this record at Bahrain.

Alice is the ADSL Internet brand of Telecom Italia, which sponsored Ferrari also in the past seasons.

Does anyone think that the USF1 car for 2010 is the green one in the picture?

If it is the picture could help in terms of making it for GP4.
