How can they drive their car during the testing ban?

Straight line testing at approved FIA facilities (of which there are many) come under a different section of the regulations. I believe they are allowed 8 days of straight line tests a year without quoting the regulations.

Why should Alonso change his helmet just to fit a new team's colour scheme? :s His helmet depicts the colours of his home region in Spain. I know several drivers arse around with their helmets but I respect those who don't change it. IMHO a driver's helmet is a sacred part of his identity.

I sincerely hope that the next Ferrari won't have this livery. I really don't like it, too much white in my opinion.

Yes, Alice has left the team. A shame, that Telecom Italia don't put a TIM Sticker to the spaces, where Alice was.
