Heidfeld vs Kubica
2007 61 - 39
2008 60 - 75
2009 15 - 9
Considering how lowly most people rate Heidfeld and highly rate Kubica, that isn't very impressive for Kubica. I'd really like to know why people have this perception. It's bizarre...it's as if people hear an opinion on TV and just go along with it without actually knowing about it. I'm guessing it's because he was technically in contention for the driver's title in 2008 in an inferior car but, again, check the results, Heidfeld's season wasn't far off and we've seen drivers switch pace depending on how the car suits them. Therefore, I've yet to be convinced that he's even better than Heidfeld. Moving on to that though...
Why do people see Nick as "solid" and "nothing special", sometimes even "boring"? I think many drivers wouldn't mind having a replay vid such as this:
That move around the outside of Alonso I am still in awe of. Of course, you can still think Heidfeld is nothing special but, I'd expect you to say the same of Kubica unless you had some pretty bloody good reasons.
