New Look for the Renault team!! Are we liking it?

During the crashgate meeting, FIA should of have taken the opportunity and banned the responsables for that paintjob too, just because of fugly.

Well, this year's Renault is a horrible car! The livery shown by Autosport is not better than the current one in my opinion!

The team keeps mentioning that they want to go back to the traditional Renault roots of the team, so it would make sense to further distance the team from Briatore and change the colours.

Because Renault don't want to pay a stupid paint scheme that's going to be used for three races with money that could've been used for development of next years car.

they also need permission to allow them to make significant changes to their livery once the season has started,

Yes, i can definitely see that argument, but there was a strong argument for changing, as it further distances them from the Briatore management, and they have also publicly stated various times that they want to return to a more Renault 'culture' within the team.

I doubt the FIA would deny them, they allowed the Spyker livery at the end of 2006 to change for example.

The first few pics from Brazil are in. No change, looks like they're sticking with this livery for the rest of the season.

true, to bad, i was hoping to see that one they showed on older model so no change in brasil

New look, huh?

It does look good I have to say. I hated the colours of this years renault!

Does anyone else think that the RF1 logo on Alonso's hat looks similar to the Sega font?
