What? I'm not saying Button is on the same level as Senna or Prost, I'm saying you don't have to be Senna/Prost/Alonso/Schumacher to deserve a championship.

I nominate Dave! The FIA would come to view Martin Brundle as a minor God in no time.

Absolutely. But at least those guys had real close battles for the Championship(Hill excepted, but even he had more of a battle than JB has had so far). Jenson hasn't, and while that is because he built up a huge points lead in the first 7 races, it seems like he only built that lead up because (a) his car was massively superior at that time and (b) his main rivals(including his teammate) were having lots of problems.

So? Kimi is just J Villeneuve No.2

Getting way too easily to top team.
Winning championship only once and beeing just overpaid xtremely lucky average driver
Beeing fired.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Jacques remained F1's most wanted driver since 1996 to end of 2000!! There would not have been a team who didnt try sign him!

Also, Button has done good enough for recognition over here

That says enough for you to say it ;)! :p

Button may have won them races at the start of the year, but people are forgetting he did battle.

He battled in Sepang, he had to over take people. Had it not been half points the championship would now be over.
China yes he did not win but had a great battle with Webber.
Barhain he done a good pass on Lewis which was vital for the win.

His wins were not as straight forward as people keep making out.

So he has had to pass people on the track.

He made the most of the time his car was the best, alot like Senna did in 1991 to beat Mansell.

Button is caught in a precarious situation now, does he go all guns blazing and go for the win to seal the title as soon as possible or does he play it safe and collect the points?

I used to be worried about Button's tyre performance/confidence issues, but now after the last few weeks, I've seen myself getting annoyed about it. Seeing Button in 4th and wanting him to produce a champion's drive, seeing him bogged down in low positions it actually irritates me. Hamilton I can respect alot for crashing out in Monza, he wanted Button's 2nd place and he drove his heart out to catch him, that's the kind of champion you want really.

I think Button is doing the right thing tbh, as much as I hate it.

His laps in the last race to pass Rubens were spot and that is a champions drive.

He could go flat out and end up like Lewis in 2007 and nearly 2008. This is probably Buttons only chance to win the title so he is making the most of it.

I think he will win in Japan anyway, the car should go well there and I think its Rubens who is having the problem with presure. Button is not the one going off track etc.

Button is playing it safe, he's not going to risk losing his title by putting on a great drive.
