I agree with Dave on this, except in Canada it was more like late night saturday for us here. chicken wings and a couple cold ones to start the f1 year off :P

Exactly, and it would seem from all the harbour circuits we are now getting, location is much more important than having elevation changes or an interesting track layout.

That sounds like an awesome way to start the year! :D

I miss Japan as a closer. Somehow getting up for a race at 6am and knowing who was the world champion by 9am, just as everyone else was getting up and putting on breakfast, seemed like a fitting way to finish the championship!

tricky one. i also did rather like the early starts for the finale,

with the race starting at 6, japan always used to be a bit of a warm up for Oz a week or 2 later where you'd get up at 4!

that said, the last 2 years (especially last year) being sat in the pub watching the brazil race on the big screen with everyone going nuts at the end was very cool.

Is the korean track in Granturismo 4 has a similar layout to this upcoming Korean f1 track?. Considering it contains a old track layout.

Not sure about the situation in Donnington, however, if the things looked opaque for them, a bit more Murphy applied wouldn't hurt:

British Grand Prix is the same day as the World Cup Final

What time would the final be held?

No question for me, at least in F1 England CAN do it ;)!

Why would you watch the WC final? England isn't going to be in it ;)

Abu Dhabi and Brazil have switched again :(

[fia.com]

Very disappointing, as Brazil was infinitely better as a season decider than Abu Dhabi.

As predictable a switch as it is a crap one.
It's a shame the whole decision-making process is so money-orientated TBH.

I don't even support England in the WC ;)

This has been one crap day for F1. I mean first the rubbish points system and then the Abu Dhabi and Brasil switch. Why not just make it F1 Emirates Championship.

One good thing did come out of this,

Former Drivers to become FIA Stewards

That's disappointing, I felt a bit short-changed this year with Abu-Dhabi finishing up the season, just didn't feel quite right

2007 and 2008 were fantastic finales at Interlagos, would have been nice to see it return

Also cheers for that bit of news Monil, had missed that, sounds like a good decision
