And now he got a bit bored so decided to build SPACESHIPS. Yeah - motherf**king SPACESHIPS. How less bland can you get?

LOL +1 :-) That's gotta be the quote of the week!

I didn't say he developed the technology. I said his company is building SPACESHIPS. Am I wrong? Oh wait a second, I'm not. If you want to turn it into a political discussion and all the rest of it you can go bitch and cry somewhere else - i think you'll find most of us quite like Branson, and very much like SPACESHIPS.

I've heard Sir Richard Branson is building spaceships. Is this true?

With Virgin you don't even have to chose. Throw in some trains (which I have to say are rather lovely to travel on) and planes (haven't had the pleasure of those) if you want too.

On Branson, one of my friends on my course, a mature student who used to work for Boeing has met and ate lunch personally with Branson on several occasions, he said he just cant get over how down to earth the guy is considering what is at stake with the decisions he makes. He said he has not met anyone (business side) more willing to help and aid in a just cause even if it may not be financially the best for virgin.

Branson for F1 is a perfect fit imo. It was going to happen sooner or later as a big deal and I am glad that Brackley has the chance.

well, not really to say this, but my dad work on virgin for over a year on 747,recieved 400k's month plus bonus though, and i think brandson is so money maker guy,but he makes equally share of distribution to others, that served his company though, for his not really a thrifty person.

If not mistaken they may change or introduce not only colors as well, but also the name for "Virgin" simply.

Well, would be better than "Virgin Brawn" nonetheless.

if Virgin are getting that much space for 10 million pounds, I can't imagine what Brawn GP will do to advertise when someone comes in with 50 million

Perhaps they will rename the engine "Virgin"...similar to Ferrari engines rebadged as Petronas.

Methinks the cars will be redone once we get back to Europe...too complicated to try and paint AND transport the cars in one week.

Virgin isn't a title sponsor. Sidepod, engine cover, front wing and rear wing are still blank.

i think i read somewhere that the current deal is only for the first 2 races. (apparently because it was signed very late). The final deal will be worked out for china onwards.

if this is true i guess we may see some more branding in shanghai

This thread has turned awesome. Spaceships and giant rolling eyes!

Back on topic - i wouldn't think that the liveries will change until Spain, which is the first non-flyaway race. No sense in sending the cars back to the factory if they've got to punt them back out of Europe again.
