The protests have been rejected by the local stewards. They will race as legal cars.

Dave - I agree! I think it looks good but as opposed to his normal helmet this comes nowhere near!! Like i said, i really hope its a temp thing! But iam sure it is, we all know how patriotic the guy is lol!

Well visually the helmets nice, but it again removes from driver personality.

The only driver that hasn't changed his helmet is Rubens. :(

yeah, i like Glock or Trulli @ 25-1, or maybe Kubica @ 10-1

with regards the helmet.

i'd imagine its probably a 1 off. Maybe his way of showing support for the team?

If Virgin are comming in as sponsors then the livery is going to change anyway, so i reckon he'll change it back.

i'm liking the brawnGP knitwear. very retro. :-D

I'm glad Brawn GP will be able to race with their diffuser in place. Really curious to see what they can do this weekend.

Heidfeld's good odds there. 20-1. Since he's on KERS this weekend (and reckoning that BMW have theirs well developed) he's certainly looking good for a podium at least.

Cool link from Dave there...Driver's helmets are such a mess these days...:( Even Barrichello has changed his design slightly, it's black on top now instead of blue, although it at least it's still simple compared to the Picasso designs on some other helmets.

Is Virgin coming on board with Brawn? I was wondering about their potential sponsorship and who if any had committed to them...

"extensive branding" is the phrase used too, so it certainly doesn't appear to be a stop-gap measure.
