Alain Prost "Competition Driving" is an excellent book on racing tactics and strategy.
Nikki Lauda "The Art and Science of Grand Prix Driving" also a good read. Interesting tactical book with good inside info on how to set up the Ferrari 312T. A lot more involved in those days it seems.
"James Hunt" by Gerald Donalson. Good bio on the original wildman.
Martin Brundle "Working The Wheel". Brundle describes his favorite circuits and relates some of his racing experiences on the same. I found particularly interesting his story of driving at 200+ mph along the Mulsanne straight of Le Mans at night and enocountering bits and pieces of his teammates destroyed car...
"There are some pikeys there at Turn 10 putting tarmac down - what do you think of that?" - Martin Brundle
