Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Uh oh, I see a rant coming up!

All-time favourite: Michael Schumacher. I only started watching in the mid-90s, and I'm sure I would have liked some of the old-time greats, but Schumi was just AWESOME when he was on form. Nobody else could do what he did with a racing car.

Favourite on the current grid: Not sure. I guess I cheer for Alonso most often, although I haven't got a particular passion for supporting him.

I'm guessing it's only gonna be me... Juan Pablo Montoya. A lot of people dislike him, others love him. I didn't like him back when he was in CART but in F1 it was a completely different story. The rawness of his driving... just amazing. Although his later years in F1 were completely rubbish watching him fighting MS when no one could was priceless. Personally I think he's been the most naturally talented individual to join F1 since Ayrton. And now Lewis.

I also like many other drivers... Alonso, MS, Massa, Kimi, and Fisi when he was driving not-capable-of-winning-cars. Currently I don't have a favorite driver and I don't think I ever will again. Your heart rushing when your driver was about to win or just made a great move, or how mad you got when he made a silly mistake (I had to endure a lot of these with JPM unfortunately)... It's never been like this again.

Those days made the sport much more easier to watch.

I wasn't trying to say he wasn't already good in CART, I just didn't like him back then for some reason. Maybe because I was completely biased towards Greg Moore and JPM just came in and won the title in his rookie year. I was around 12 years old back then (1999) and my general opinion was extremely immature and subjective (not as bad as Bruninho though) . My mind changed when he got into F1.

Alonso - he´s had his moments of doing daft things, but for me is the best guy out there. I don´t think he´s arrogant at all. Although I would agree in English, he does come across that way, but in Spanish, to me, he seems a nice down to earth, realistic guy.

At the minute I´m also liking Heidfeld, Massa, Kubica and in the last few months Vettel. I really didn´t rate Vettel at the start of the season but since Valencia my opinion on him has changed.

Of the current drivers: Kimi. He might've been going thru a phase of being garbage recently, but when he hooks up and really gets on top form he's just untouchable. Barcelona 2005, Melbourne 2007 and Silverstone 2007 are good examples. Suzuka 2005 is the stuff of legend. For this reason alone he gets my vote. Ron Dennis described him as a phenomenal talent - says it all really.

Of all time: has to be Ayrton.
