LOL... y2cwr2005

anyways yes, well done for Heikke, i hop he goes back to the form he showed at the start of the year
and so does Kimi

i fell bad for Massa but at least they showed that aren't that far behind from Mclaren, if anything they should work hard on this break to come back and fight for the title

well done for Timo, great drive and great result

Ooh much better watching the race in Canada. You still have to listen to the twats race commentry. But the buildup wasnt a Hamilton fest, and they show the press conference :)

Best race I have seen from Massa, so unlucky though! If he loses the championship then we can point to this race.
Kovalainon drove alright, but he was there when it mattered and deserved some luck.
Glock was brilliant in the Toyota, setting fastest sector times. Toyota have really found some pace lately, both drivers have been on the podium now this year.
And Hamilton was comprehensibly beaten by Massa today, and looking at the final result of the race was actually lucky, despite his puncture. Overall he increased his lead in the championship.

And overall a rather entertaining GP for Hungary.

Yes just as i wanted Massa did attack both mclarens! Good for him, shame the engine gave up as he fully deserved the win here.

Shame Kimi got stuck behind Alonso as i think this cost him 2nd place but 6points is better than nothing and the gap is still reasonable between him and hamilton.

And Yes!! Glad Hamilton got that puncture!! Wooo!!!

Congrats to Heikki for getting his 1st win!

Sorry mate, i was a bit angry at that time due to all the hamilton fest. :(

Great race today, cannot believe the ferrari's reliability and Felipe was awesome today and definitely shut his critics up on whether he was good for ferrari or not. Him and Glock have to be my drivers of the day.

I was in a uproar when hamilton's puncture came long (WOO!) but then the engine goes :(. I wonder if Raikkonen would been able to get a second place if he had a better start and got alonso in the first corner, we would've seen some race from him. Not a bad end towards the second part of the season. I look forward to Valencia

PMSL @ Ferrari #2!

Well, great drive by Glock... and Piquet! :)

Piquet certainly improved, now Glock... lets see if he can carry this moment to the next races. I dont think he can, because I dont think that hes all that good...

First entertaining Hungarian GP for quite some time.

Nice to see Heikki on the top step finally even if it was a lucky win, especially glad it was him and not Lewis who benefitted from Felipe's misfortune.
Shame for Felipe after a fantastic start and a great race, he looked totally dejected after getting out of the car, it should have been his day.

Great fight back by Kimi too, good to see the spirit back in him again after his lack lustre performances of late. He does need to sort out his qualy pace though and soon.

Superb drive by Timo to get him on the podium.

What a move by Massa at the start! I'm no Ferrari fan but I still punched the air when he cruised round the outside!

Lewis, he drove well but was outclassed today (to the surprise of ITV) I'm not entirely sure why everyone was so convinced Hamilton would dominate though? He hardly had a huge gap to the Ferraris in quali what with Massa setting the fastest lap and in Practise they couldn't hold their tyres as well.

Brilliant jobs by Heikki and especially Timo. The Finn was still too slow compared Lewis - HURRY UP! Timo though was fantastic, it's great to see a young guy actually acheiving on merit instead of just being in the right place at the right time.

I'm concerned for Red Bull with Toyota and Renault locking out the points and moving ahead of BMW though - this will be the point in the season where we'll see who's still developing their cars and who's looking to next year for the resuults

Bruninho, Piquet had a great race? Did you miss the first lap? It was hilarious. He managed to drive off the track, and then his 'defending' of position from Trulli actually made me laugh. I don't dislike the bloke (just don't love him, like some), but it was atrocious. I can't remember seeing a someone attempt to hold someone back by moving over to defend the inside line... when the other guy is already completely alongside you. It was hilarious.

The rest of his race was OK, but despite his better strategy, still ended up 10 seconds and 2 places behind his team-mate (again).

Please explain how it was a 'great' drive.

How can you laugh at Massa? You complain about him all the time, that he's got no balls, that he's everything but a winner, that he's not Senna reincarnate, but he executed a 'Senna-esque' move at the start and dominated the race in what most thought was a weaker car. I don't get you. What does he have to do? He'd have been leading the championship comfortably... :\

No doubt Rubens was at fault for the pit-lane fire, and for the other teams too?

At least Glock earned his win with pure pace and performance. He didn't need a safety car to propel him to his first podium.

I'm not patriotic either (I couldn't give a stuff about my country winning anything), but I don't dislike someone from my country because I perceive them not to be in the mould of a past hero.

I thought the race was agood one by Hungary's standards, and I was absolutely distraught for Massa. You could see in his eyes on the walk back how hard that one had hit him. He'd earned the right to be leading the Championship today... that was cruel luck. Thankfully (for a Championship perspective) Hamilton's puncture keeps things close.

And I know we're not discussing ITV's coverage in this thread, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Allen / Hill partnership was certainly a lot more entertaining and a lot less inept than it was last year.

Average race today. Massa deserved the win, but would have been more interesting without Hamiltons puncture. Congrats Heikki, some good luck, and Glock also a great drive.

Also, i dont know why i read these topics, yay hamilton lost, hamilton sucks, etc, fed up with it. Am not an ass licker like some, am in the middle, why all this hate towards certain drivers, especially Hamilton. Am fed up tbh.

ROFL, this was great. I had actually given up on the race on lap 35. I was almost asleep, so decided to go to the computer...then I decided to see where things were at, just to see Massa stopping, and Hamilton running 6th! As a Kimi fan, I was sad that it was going to be one more race where he would lose points, but in the end, he managed to get a couple back on Hamilton, plus now being 2nd on the championship feels much better. I just hope he manages a great race at Valencia, and then gives his best to win at Belgium and Italy...both tracks where he is great at. The championship is still at grasp here, and now is the perfect time for him to react.

As for Massa, even though I hate the guy, I must admit he did a great start there. I do not feel sorry for him though. He has really been a bit lucky the past few races (except Silverstone...that one goes all to him ;) ), and so it's good that things returned to normal now.

And of course, congrats to Heikki. With all the bad luck this year, this feels a bit like justice has been made. He did some great qualifying runs this year (including yesterday, as he was quite a bit heavier than Hamilton) and fully deserved a win...the fact that it fell on his lap like this, in my opinion is kinda like the universe decided to balance thins out for him, heheh.

What the @#$%& does that have to do with patriotism? Do you even know what that word means?!

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

Exactly.. People who support drivers only because of where they are from are idiots.

Congratulations Heikki! :)

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

He got points in a shite car, yes he had a poor start but at the end he got points. Exactly what he wanted and exactly what I was expecting.

And about the move on Trulli, who cares, I wanted him to do that to defend it, I would have done the same, the Honda #17 would have left room for Trulli and lost the position, so yes Piquet was aggressive and thats exactly what I want from him.

He was 2nd to Cheatmacher in 2006, and I will never forgive him for that. Hes useless in wet-races and without TC, clearly hes not champ material so i wont bother supporting him. To be a champ you need to be complete, and Lewis is looking strong atm, looks like he has everything he needs to win. He can drive without TC and win wet races. Lucky brits with a new champion coming...

and n00binio, hes an arrogant prick that never admits his own mistakes, Piquet at least is capable of admitting them and he works hard to fix them. Ferrari #2 and Honda #17 don't. They prefer to blame the car, the track, the lack of TC, the team, the tyres (Honda #17's excuse today) and the whole world. Its never their own mistakes, thats why I will never support them.

I dont want them to be Senna. I just dont like them for playing the #2 role to Cheatmacher.

Lol! Massa have been better than Kimi for whole season.. Kimi is doing a lot more mistakes all the time. Massa had just 1 really shite race.

I laugh at you, Your Noob Piquet and Ayrton Cheatna who is not even alive anymore.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?
