Iirc, I think he pretends to be drunk from the champagne.. I remember reading that somewhere, but not sure how accurate it was!

As frustrating as RB is, I was glad to see him have a podium, esp after DC got one in his final year. I stil lreckon RB will go at the end of the year!

This kills me to say it... but WOW at Hamilton, that was a masterful race. For anyone to win by over a minute, that was superb. I still hate him, but that drive was easily his best. If he can keep his head together like that every race. He will be a WDC.

Sadly were off to Germany in two weeks time for surely a crud GP.

This weekend was one of the best overall F1 weekends in a very long time!!! And to think Silverstone is gone after next year...

2013 - Nando must come through..

If someone done that on the street they could get done by the police, the JPM incident a few years back was different as the guy did hit his head.

on first hand observation that guy got in the way quite a lot, yes it may have been his job, but a lot of the angles he was trying to take were invading private space. thats where the line ends, the photographer overstepped his boundary, and after such, kimi overstepped his.

photographer did his first, thus is the cause of his own fate IMO.

he also took the gp2 grid girls 'arse shot' with the windy conditions over on the gp2 site, the crowd cheered!

Personal.

The guy has a camera on him 24/7. The last thing he wants is someone shoving in his way, in his face whilst he is talking, perhaps about something important and right before a race.

If I went up to anyone and shoved a camera in their face id be supprised not to get shoved, its a natural human reaction if someone invades your personal space is it not?

edit - im not saying what Kimi did was right, but the a reaction like that wasnt really a supprise imo. If theres a time to leave the drivers alone its right before and after races ( if they retired ).

Well no, the exact opposite. Whilst they are at the circuit they are doing there job. That is when they SHOULD be photographed. When they go home and have a personal life, that is when they should not be photographed.

its all been said
but still can't believe Kova didn't go for extremes, they were all hardly on track, they were all lapping in about 1,50 1,58,and it was already his pit stop
lets say it stopped raining,he could has at least had 8 laps lapping about 7 secs faster than the rest,if not even 10 secs, because even when the track was drying and the sun was out Rubens was lapping 6 secs faster than hiedfeld.
he could has easly got second,i think Ross Brown was always the smartest man on the pit wall, and still is.

They were saying today the mclaren is not good on the extreme wet tyres, this could be a problem if they ever need them.

Kovy made to many errors today and took to long getting passed slower cars, from what has been said it seems he went the wrong way on set up.

RB would have been 2nd had it not been for the extra pit stop, I was a bit supprised when they changed his tyres to inters as the full wets looked ok, we could have got passed nick. Had he not needed to stop could he have caught lewis? we will never know but it would have been close i think.

I can not remember the last time we had a driver win by so much.

I still cant get over how terrible Massa was today. The only explanation I can think of, was that he didnt have the right rainsetup. He mustve gambled on it being dry. He definitely did not look like a man thats leading the championship halfway through the year.

1994 Brazil GP , Michael Schumacher lapped the driver who came 2nd (Damon Hill)

about the photographer-Kimi thing...well the photographer came way too close he did touch Kimi and was standing on Kimi's stuff. What Kimi did (pushing him) was not maybe right but that's what example bodygards do for a living when they protect celebrities from photographers/fans so why was this anything different compared to that? he was clearly disturbing Kimi a lot and even I would have done something similar :)

Montoya in 2003, Hockenheim, had also a very large gap to DC. And Alonso in the same year in Hungary dito.

Noooo, a weekend to forget for ferrari

I guess the only positive is that 2 out of the 3 leading drivers in the championship are ferrari's.
They should have changed Kimi's tyres and not risked it imo.

And webber coming over to block Kimi at the start and therefore leaving space for Hamilton to crawl through!

Well done barichello getting the honda on the podium.

I was sitting in the middle of lots of hamilton fans. All theyd do was stand up and clap everytime hamilton crossed the line. Then when Kimi came pass all i hear is me pressing the 'air horn' and celebrating. Where were the ferrari supporters sitting!!

It was funny in quali though when hamilton went off track and everyone looking at me when i stood up to celebrate ;)

yes Montoay won over 65 seconds before to DC but Alonso won at Hungary only just by 16 seconds before Kimi.

you could see the camera flashing, i dont know about the others, but imagin a camera a few inches from your face, flashing, i always get blurry eyes from it ;) but that might be only me anyway.

about the big gap, it happens all the time, though it must be said that the big gap of today never really happens in rain races, but thats becouse a normal rain race have several safety cars, and this one didnt ;)

All I meant was I could not remember the last time it happened, i know its happened in the last. Remember Australia 1995 DH lapped the whole field I think.
