Hmph, why did formula1.com convert my time to UK instead of Finland? Bah! That makes it 1am and 5am for practise. Inconvienient much? :P

Maybe they wont have adverts on it so we could watch the whole race?

Good point, be great to pop online whilst the ads are on.

For info (UK Times)

FP1 - 11pm (tonight)
FP2 - 3am (Friday)
FP3 - Midnight (Friday night/Saturday morning)

What I find strange is everything just says Friday free practise Saturday is not mentioned anywhere so we wont be able to watch it.

Its just fp1 and 2, quali and the race.

YOU SPOILED KIDS! We don't even get to see F1 free from TV, and watching from internet costs 7 euros for one race day...

its a simulcast so it will still have ads

and of course it'll be restricted to UK users

Sounds great, for the UK. But having 'announced a deal'...'to acquire'...does not sound like it'll be hot to trot within 24 hrs. You'd think they'd already have a link prepared if it was.

If you go to the video section on the ITV website there's an advert (near the bottom of the screen) advertising live streaming of Friday Practice from Melbourne.

Didnt notice the simulcast bit for qualifying and the race so yeah still ads but i expect practice just to be pictures and sound, no commentary, so no James Allen lol

I guess we'll see tonight!!! Im expecting a crash of the servers around 11ish though!!!! Should be alot better for FP2 at 3am

Bear in mind we don't get any FP at all (and during the race we get motormouth Allen), so I'm glad we're not quite playing such a long catchup to the Germans.
