But I always thought it wouldnt need a rocket-scientist to regognize "moving aero-component" if its made with f**king pivots and springs.. Thatkind parts were already against rules at those times. FIA should have taken all points away after that race.

It was 101% illegal.. But "FIA didnt have any test to prove it was illegal" even everybody was able to see how that part did work. There wasnt anything unclear about it. Its just so difficult to push it down by hand or with standing on it to prove what eyes can see and brains understands anyway.

So it "was NOT" illegal. FIA just asked friendly to get rid of it. For some reason BAR didnt get any friendly request to remove their illegal things from car before they had already 2 race ban..

it's not what you see, it's what you can prove, if you can't prove it is ilegal, then it's not, deal with it, they could've proven for next race, but it was too late, Ferrari changed it

They cud have proved it just with pressing it down by fingers.. Yea I know that wouldnt have been "official way" to test it. Just stupid but true. lol

Anyway everybody knows that part was illegal and how fixing that crime would have effected to this year worldchampionship results...

You'd need more than fingers to prove that IWE, the Ferrari passed that standard test therefore it didn't move more than the allowed tolerance under the load specified by the original FIA rule.
I'm no Ferrari fan but they just found a loop hole in the rule, something all clever designers try to achieve to gain extra performance. Still glad they got found out as it was not safe imo.
Also remember that according to reports, it wasn't just Ferrari who had to change their floor in the end.

don't let that fact in your last sentence get in the way of a good Ferrari-bashing though, Mike.
