Going to be an interesting season.

If Honda and Toyota dont step up, i cant imagine them getting another chance to win the WCC, because imo Ferrari will be too strong after, well idk, but its a guess. However Toyotas drivers arnt upto it, and nor is Rubens.

Renault will be an interesting team to watch... Even if the cars a gem, i doubt either driver can utilize it!

Will be interesting to see if BMW can make a good car from the start, we know they can develop quick and well, but it only appeard mid 2006, when the Sauber-BMW transition was complete. But they wont get no podiums imo.

I wonder if Spyker can improve, Midland didnt build a bad car at all, it has to be said.

I cant imagine Williams improving much on pace, but with Wurz i think, its a team i can now cheer for if they do well. :P

I also hope Speed keeps his drive, if you ask me hes had a good season, considering... i think his performaces have been under-rated, i mean Luizzi knows Europe well, and made a mess of a few races, buy spinning etc :P

liuzzi and speed are both crap, they make many mistakes imo, and even dan wheldon has a change for the spyker seat.

Just the way I feel about each team

I reckon Ferrari will be the team to beat, and there'll be 4 teams challenging Maranello's finest. Then it's the mid-field (Red Bull, Williams and Toyota) with Toyota falling back to Williams (resulting in Toyota going bye bye....YES!) Then the back end of the field, with Toro Rosso and Super Aguri fighting for small change when half the field is wiped out at Turn 1 (like Indy 2006, lol). And I reckon, even though it is a car manufacturer backed team, Spyker F1 will struggle (even with Mike Gascoyne. Don't forget what the Toyota bigwigs did) Although, the Dutchies may listen to him, unlike the Japanese. So they may be back-end/mid-field.

Anyone noted that since Gascoyne's full departure from Toyota (in the long term), they've had only 2 good points finishes (Oz and Japan)?

Toro rosso should kick Scott Speed, guy isn't really that fast, makes mistakes and is so damn stupid as we heard last season from some conversations between him and the team.

well the prob with toyota was that indeed the japanese people didnt want to listen to him, now it is in dutch hands (still more english cause the headquerter is in england, silverstone and much english people from his jordan time) and in his jordan time he was great, so i exspect spyker in the midfield in 2008, not 2007 cause its already to late for it.

he matched luizzi in latter part, but made less mistakes.

Doornbos is gonna be 3rd driver at RBR IIRC, so won't be taking the STR seat, and I'd love to know where the Wheldon at Spyker thing came from?

doornbos is still in talks he has 2 choises; red bull test driver or he maybe can get the toro rosso seat, and michel mol (boss of spyker) said he was interested in dan wheldon

Red Bull get rid of the guy with the most marketable name in F1 after Schumacher?! Never gonna happen unless he's overtaken by Ide, in his imaginary car.

I'm not so sure though... Ferrari should win pretty easily really next year, then you'd expect Renault and McLaren, but Renault don't have Alonso, and Fisi just isn't going to fill the hole, and McLaren really need a big boost from this year, and I don't see it happening.

Hope I'm wrong though. Schumacher or not, I don't want Ferrari to run away with it again.

No chance, he's testing for them - but he couldn't race in F1. There's a set time they have to be able to exit a car in, and he couldn't do it

I'd kick Speed and put Doornbos in, he's far more experienced than him. And the american didnt impressed me at all last season. Doornbos replaced Klien and was quite reliable, which was good for RB.

Speed is just there because we have a US GP, otherwise they wouldnt look at him without marketing interests.

Speed was good though, towards the end. Luizzi should have totally destroyed him, but failed to.

Last season imo got rid of any foolish statment saying Luizzi is a future star.

Doornboss was average, and just meerly managed to finish races. With Klien you can see he has speed, just imo was unlucky. But hell, Honda have him now, im happy.
