This is a very good idea from Max! It gives the one who drives behind the care more grip and this improves the way to take over!

it will only work if they use an all over package, for some reason max seems the think that the rear wing is to blame. there are hundreds of little things that need changing i feel.

It isn't an idea from Max , Max is just saying : Guys , make a idea to get that overtaking better , He only introduce it .

I want:

Low and small front wing, big slicks, big diffusser, small rear wing, no bodywork wings, over-sized engine.

why don't they just ban the rear wing altogether, instead of this half arsed attempt at destroying the look of the car?

ok..1 question, can some1 do a prototype of the car for GP4... lets see how the car really looks on track.

Its a sign of the times, but one of my first reactions was "how are teams going to fit sponsor names on those tiny wings???" And you can better your life, big spenders like Panasonic, or Marlboro (yes i am aware of tobacco laws which should see off Marlboro...!!) wont want there brand names shown in such tiny sizes for the $$$ they shell out. It will no doubt be something teams think about....
But for the spectators, and the overall show of F1, something HAS to be done to improve the racing spectacle.

can i just say all these photos that have been edited are wrong anyhow

as if the rear wing does change to the new style, then all the rear bodywork and aero on the car will look dramatically different

no need for top mounted exhausts, they could be channelled into the space at the back

all the flipups would look different

so the car would look better i think than these edited pics suggest

I dunno if anyone else has said this but have you noticed those designs (showing the rear wing) that the car has slicks on?!

it looks like something that belongs in a Wipeout game. Next they'll be strapping missiles to the sidepods.

Although it'll take a while to get used to it, I'm all for it if it gives more overtaking. Just because it is different doesn't mean it's a bad idea. What's wrong with innovation?

It doesn't matter how the cars look. These cars are for driving, they aren't production cars.

About the size of the diffusser, they won't allow it to be very big. I suppose they don't want a big ground effect as it can be very dangerous.
