Well that's definitely a bit blander than expected and there's conflicting reports over whether it's the official race livery or simply a interim paint job for testing.
My best guess is that's an interim livery and it wouldn't surprise me to see a couple more marketing partners included come Melbourne although it's already clear that Renault have decided to port their Ininiti brand over from Red Bull Racing.
Can't say too much about the car as black does do a good job at hiding the more intricate aerodynamic details but it looks much the same as last year's which is no surprise given the team's lack of budget to develop last year's car let alone this years. A close evolution therefore is to be expected.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that
is last year's chassis repainted for purposes of the corporate launch.
I don't think we can expect too much from Renault for a year or two yet. The powertrain is going to take the focus of the initial development seeing as they dropped the ball big time with these v6 regs compared to Mercedes and Ferrari.
