I can watch cars go around in circles, literately on ovals, but i cannot watch a game of soccer, NOTHING happens for 89 minutes of the game. 1 minute of excitement.... wow. i can suggest better ways to get that amount of excitement. Ie grass watching

better watch men huging each other on rugby huh?

It's not one minute of excitement, the whole game can be very enjoyable with pretty plays and both teams trying to win.

Who said i liked rugby?

Gui, I will admit it is quite technical, but still nothing happens.

Many times games that should be good do turn out bad because of one team only wanting to draw or hoping to score on a counter attack, but there are plenty of things that can happen, a few magical moments .

yes and that annoys, should always be on attack.

Another thing that pisses me off is the players falling over miles from another player in hope to get a free kick. Its about time they sorted that out for good. I know in the world cup they dont allow that

That is a big problem just like overly physical challenges are a major problem too. Refs should be very strict regarding any more physical challenges because a player can get hurt and have to leave a match while the other goes on unpunished, and more often than not that causes the other team to get aggressive too and all hell breaks loose . Divers are supposed to get yellow cards but sometimes the slightest contact is enough to take away your balance depending on speed you're going, direction change, supporting foot... and many times fouls are not given due to refs "seeing" a dive. I am all out in favor of fair play, no dirty challenges, no dives, no handballs, it only takes away from the beauty of the sport.

On a sidenote, I played tonight with some brazilians to help acclimatize the daughter of the owner of the footy place to the brazilian style of play and words, since she's born here in the US but chose to play for Brazil as her dad is from there (she flies this Monday to Rio to join the U-20 Brazil squad), and it was incredible fun! Was 3x3 on a small pitch, plenty of great plays, good passing and running. Awesome all the way through .
