Lot's of people don't like NASCAR. However lot's of people don't know why they don't like NASCAR. Neil got annoyed at it, I found it quite funny assadof1 has an awesome record of talking complete sh!t anyway, so not like it's a valued opinion :P

Anyway, back on the topic of drivers to NASCAR, theres still been no press connference for Franchitti, but Hornish attempted to qualify for his first Nextel CUp race last night and found it a bit more difficult than he thought it'd be. Team mates qualified 3rd and 5th, and he DNQed with a terrible 45th place :-\

AJ Allmendinger looks to be moving to IRL, unhappy with his struggling Red Bull team (although its definatly improved since the start of the year).

Villeneuve gets his first start next week, in the truck race at Las Vegas, and Patrick Carpentier will sign for Evernham Motorsports should a sponsor be found for the car (which Boris Said is running this week, randomly).

No official statement is out yet but Chip Ganassi said on TV last night that Dario will run in his Nextel Cup Car at Talladega.

He won't, Chip is talking balls. He's registered a car for the ARCA race though, so we know who'll be in that.

Dario won't run the Talladega ARCA race because Andretti Green Racing has refused to release him from the contract and has now decided Dario must run the Petit Le Mans in there LMP2 car, which is the same weekend as the ARCA event. Sounds like Andretti still has a bit of bad blood after there spat.

Darios been at the Ganassi factory a lot and will sign a contract soon but AGR is slowing it down as much as possible.
