I'm still confused has Mercedes not been in Le Mans for many years due to the flip accidents a few years back ?

Yesterday here in holland there was the le mans news and there was history in it , they said mercedes was in le mans in the years 30 or 50 or something and then there was that crash where died 79 people , then they did quit and later they came back with sauber but when that car flipped they didn't return either...

Both the Audi R10's are on the front row, in front of the 2 Pescarolo cars. Should be a ding dong battle between the 2 teams!

I believe Webber had 2 flips in qualifying/testing. After some modifications, they entered the race, but withdrew on the Saturday evening after Dumbreck's crash.

Here's a couple of photos of one of Webbers crashes

And a video of Dumbreck (though any motor-racing fan worth their salt should have seen this time and time again ;)) [www.gavwilson.com] - Right-click, save as. 11mb. Courtesy of someone at TBK.

There is. It's called NR2003 with the GTP mod ;-)

Really enjoying it so far. The #63 Corvette's just had a high-speed spin entering the Porsche Curves, and done his left-front.

Yeah, it's for Germany only. RTL apparently have a stream, but I've not tried it.

I'm sitting watching it here on my PC, while lying on my bed with a tabletpc reading live timing. :d
