Hi davidm, that would not fit into the spirit of this collection i'm currently doing, but that doesn't mean it might not happen in the next project...by me or by anyother car painter!

I would also look forward to it

Racer#73, you're a guy with critical spirit and i appreciate that in people. On top of that i enjoyed your idea, so here goes second version of my Honda (with Racer#73's input):

Racer#73 is wright... Honda car looks much much better with one red stripe...well done Ivocalha!:)

Guys, here comes my Ford:

I know it looks a bit busy, but the source of imagination was not too good either.

Next release will be Audi. Inspiration from Lemans, Rally and DTM.

mate you got me with this car! Really nice O_O

I have some suggestions if you want to handle it: get rid at all of the Ford writing under the aerodynamic stuff. leave there the color though. the small ford logos here and there are already ok and more characteristic. Also the castrol logo in the side is cut by the template. make it a bit smaller and inclined so that the front is slightly higher than the back. in this way will also follow the roundness of the car body.

still top stuff! pairing with Toyota :)

Thanks ivocalha. It's an honor for my opinions be taken into account by someone with such talent. Someday you gotta teach me how to paint cars like that. And once again you made an awesome job with the Ford. Especially with the BP logo on the back of the car.

Well, since you're making the Audi, not wanting to push it, can I make another suggestion? Here it goes anyway: IMO i think the Audi should look more like the official cars from the 80's (like the Audi quattro from rally, and the Audi 80 from IMSA), and the reason is because if you see on recent carsets from Le Mans, or even fictional carsets, you can find many official Audis painted in silver and red, like the present days official Audis. I think that an Audi looking like the ones from the 80's would be different and something kind of new. U know what I mean? But this is just my opinion, I'm sure you'll present us with another awesome car.

Cheers. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to see that Audi.

Racer#73,

God damn you!!!!! I was almost finishing my Audi when i read your post and realized you're completely right once again!

I was thinking about mixing current official DTM Audi with the latest LeMans Audi with just a tiny bit of Audi Quattro, but your suggestion made me re-think it. I'm going to increase Audi Quattro % in the final mix.

Now i need to think a bit...in the disco looking at some gorgeous Polish girls!!! ;)

Hi Rob,

If you analyze it better, there are loads of Ford motor racing cars with that big logo on the side at the back...it's Ford's characteristic! ;)

Regarding the second tip, i agree.

Anyway, even though i don't agree 100% with your first suggestion, i'll do a second version without it...as a very small thank you for what you have been doing for this community!

well, it was just a tip not a demand tho. True about the logo on many cars but in F1 that space is usually not used for big logos for a matter of visibility as it's too shaded by wings and tyres, that's why i noticed.
eheh today started my season and this car came really at the right time to be the last team to unveil their official car right before the race. from produced to consumer in 10 minutes. :)

I'm sorry but I'm a little bit disappointed in the ford,...I thought we were going to see the colours of the Ford GT's who won several times Le Mans 'Lightblue with Orange stripe and Gulf sponsoring' just like in the movie LeMans with Steve McQueen but I!M wrong again...Sad doh!:(

that's going to be Aston Martin!

Though I'm sure a Gulf Aston Martin would look cool, especially painted by you. IMO I think that an "official" Aston Martin would look better in a Racing British Green like the first Aston Martin DBR9 from FIA GT. To be honest I kinda find it hard to associate the Gulf Colors with Aston Martin, and I'm talking about the real 2009 Le Mans prototype. But once again it's just my opinion, I'm sure, like always you'll do an excellent job on the car either painted in green or in blue.

Cheers. I hope you had fun at the disco, and I also hope there was some gorgeous Polish girls for you to look at. I was going to ask for you to share some with us, but you've already been sharing your cars...;)

just a service tip about the ford: the section top of the rollbar remained white while all arond is blue. dunno if you meant this way, but just in case... it's the part right above the U of Ultimate ;-)

2 Ford's service revisions. On the left, top of rollbar blue and twisted and resized Castrol logos on the side. On the right the same plus big Ford logos missing.

I understand what you mean. It's also a little bit odd for me to see the Aston Martin with Gulf sponsorship. It's more easy to see a Gulf McLaren.

But if i leave it British Green, what should i do when it's Jaguar and Bentley turns?

What i will do is trying to find a way of mixing green with Gulf colors (i know, impossible to look good), for Jag, i'll mix green with Silk Cut colors and for Bentley, i'll mix green with silver and black.

In your opinion what would be Bentley's main sponsors?

Man, i already lived in several countries, including England, and i tell you...there is nothing like this...sometimes is unbelievable!
