I don't like cars with tobacco/alcohol ads... I delete them all...

I delete adverts, not the cars... If not, I wouldn't even wasing my time recreating the 1993 Ligier painted by Hugo Pratt (used on last two races of that season) which had a HUGE Gitanes advert and HUGE maids...




Also: Relault ads also covers Gitanes...

I have to say that I find your views on tobacco sponsoring (or alcohol) to be extremely rigid. Like it or not, tobacco brands are a part of F1 and as such 'deserve' to be rendered as faithfully as possible.

What's next? Deleting Renault signage because you once had a Renault which broke down?
Or perhaps you don't like Mercedes cars so exit McLaren-Mercedes? Don't like Budweisers so your Williams doesn't quite look right?

Fantasy cars can be anything the artist wants but historical cars should be rendered as faithfully as possible. At least that's my opinion.

It's 10 yers I watch ferrari and never felt I wanted a cigarette, what's this regret about tobacco adverts on cars?

Well, say this to the guys that paint the "official" cars for GP games... As for me, don't like them... But if I would make an official carset, I render those ads perfectly... But in MY copy of the game, I don't use them... And it applies only to tobacco and alcohol...



If I were making an oficial 1993 carset, I wouldn't delete Gitanes' adverts, for sure... As it's a fictional carset, Gitanes became ///////...
