for me all the tracks works fine, without problems. Maybe you haven't the right slots for this track

I have the same problem silverstone 2003 and 04 ctd. I have a small problem with spa as well. In every version I get big black panels on both side of the tracks.

hmm, can you post a screen of spa, what graphics card are you using?

Marco,

For a copy of GP3-2000 try Amazon or E-bay. There were a few floating about in those locations a few weeks ago. After the failure of my first Gp3 2K to work I purchased another one from Amazon, used, which I was able to install and get running with the help I had recieved from this site previously.

Install method: COPY GP3-2000 CD contents to a new folder on HD. Replace GP3-2000 exe with No-CD patch. Run GP3-2000 Installfix. Game should install and run. Did for me!
(Patches and fixes mentioned available on this site)

One caveat that the senior members of the forum may be able to answer is whether the copy will work in your location. I dunno, I'm just a clueless noobie in that respect.

Regards,

Wheely

Could you please explain to me how to get a screenshot in here than I will show you this problem. I have never had any problems with your tracks. Im using a rather old computer with an asus 7700 series graphics card.

To Belini : I've sent to you a picture of Spa's bug.

When I want to drive at Silverstone (2003, 2004 and 2005 versions), gp3 crashes, and a Gpxpatch report appears :

yep it's a missing jam, there should be 18 tree jams, do you have the problem on the other versions?

maybe you shuould send the gpx file to rene, I haven't a clue what it means,
the file sizes of the 2003 - 2005 dats are larger, but shouldn't think that
would be the cause

i think i know what the problem is, maybe you don't have installed the earlier belini season tracks and the new versions don't have all files they needed. I've installed the last v4 versions from the tracks and simply overwrite them all with the new files and here all works fine

I've only tried the 2005 Spa's version, sorry. Maybe "wvdriel" ? He said that "in every version" he had black panels.

no there aren't, but do you have the genjams v2.0 ? it's very important to have them installed

I have a problem with Silverstone 2005: on my PC (AMD 2400+, GF 6600GT, XP Prof SP2)
the track CTD with error message:
0x00537e85 -> Total number of kerb profile definitions (cmd 0xca) >= 32.
0x00537e85 -> Total number of kerb profile definitions (cmd 0xca) >= 32.

Same thing on my laptop (P3 1000, SIS 630) under ME, but it works on it with XP Prof
SP2 ! I don´t understand it and will try out the other versions too.
On my laptop I have the same graphic bug at Spa and Monza : black shadows of
objects/stands beside the track, saw the same on converted tracks for rFactor,
there it was a transparency problem.

Happy racing from Germany !!!

lets see if we can fix these problems:

please post graphics card, memory and screen resolution when reporting
problems

I have a 3.4 AMD gforce6600gt, 1 gig ram, XP PRO SP2 and run at 1280 res.

the kerb def message is wrong and should be >32
all that happens when you use more than 32 is that the kerbs go weird

I've uploaded a version with 31 kerb defs to see if it solves your problem

@ belini:
Silverstone 2003,2004,2005 now work on my PC, it was a very simple thing:
I run GP3_2000.exe in compactibility modus under XP Prof SP2, I changed it
to no compactibility and it works ! Still got the same error message, but...

@ goeland92:
please try it this way, maybe it helps.

problem solved. It has something to do with the compatibility like drafi5 said. Just change everything to no compatibility and all silverstone versions run.

Drafi5, you're a genius !!!!!
I tried it..... It works !
I have XP Home SP2. Belini's Silverstone 2005 works fine.

To Belini : Spa haves his 18 tree jams in the nice folder. I tried all Spa's versions (I like this track :-)) : all versions have this bug.

@ belini:
thanks for the test.dat it works with error message:
0x00537e85 -> Total number of kerb profile definitions (cmd 0xca) >= 32.
0x00537e85 -> Total number of kerb profile definitions (cmd 0xca) >= 32.

@ goeland92:
happy that it works.
