I don't notice any difference whatever version I use.

you could try disabling the panel one by one to find out which
is crashing the game.

I haven't had any crashes, apart from the gpx set ini that had a typo
makes this all a bit frustrating because I can't reproduce any of these
problems.

could it be a car shape that's causing the problem or maybe another mod?

do you have the same problem with the update?
remember to run in debug mode low verbosity

I haven't seen a blue screen in years, but I've been on xp for a long
time too, be good to get you up and running

@ belini

I have Win XP Pro with SP2
would it be best to install
that for using gp3 2k its just that
some say yes and some say no
so i have stayed with 98.

what do you think?
i guess since your on xp
its probably better to install that

xp is a lot more stable than 98, but as you've read for some folks
it causes problems, I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones and never
had any problems, you do need a fast processor to overcome the high
po caused by gp32k's sound with some sound cards and also hotlaps
don't replay on xp.

if you've lots of other software that is '98 based it's best to
stick with '98, I had no choice as I use my pc mainly for music
and as cubase sx only runs on xp the decision was made for me.

The black panels at Spa.

PK suggest that the problem can be fixed by changing the jam sizes for spa_tree2.jam.

It worked out for me fixing the problem changing the two textures to heights: 512. But notice that PK wrote that the textures have widths: 256 and heights: 768. But remark: The original widths (PK-the one and only): are 128! They have to be unchanged.

Do you have the problem. For me this was a solutution - maybe also for you.

I suspected that this maybe the case, I don't usually use jams this big but
I was forced into it as I ran out of texture commands. at least it's a
compromise for those who's graphics cards have this problem.
