GP3 League Racing

Some of you may remember me - I used to run GP2World back in the day. When that closed I went off into the wilderness to think for a few years, and now I'm back with a new plan - a GP3 league.
I plan on starting the new league for February 2005, with races being once a month, 50% race distance.
If you're interested please let me know - I'm yet to formalise anything until I get a positive response.

I am interested and would love to join with my team. I would also love to offer my assisstance in anything you would need, maybe assist you to organise it?

possibly have different race distamces, for those of us who can't do 50% due to thumb injury...

I would suggest a similar system to what I used for my league last year.

50% races still only last about 40 minutes at most, which I discovered after 3 season of running GP2World was about right.
At the moment the site is still under development - the basics are done, I'm now working on getting some databases together to look after result posting and points calculations.

yer.... u get one save and if you use anymore theres 5 seconds added on to your overall time, thats what we did in my league

Lol. SimRacingWorld was founded by a guy who joined my league a few years ago. He actually drove for my team

Drivers will be allowed to save/reload as often as they like without penalty. I realise not everyone is able to sit for an hour or so at a time, but can spare 10 or 15 minutes.
The idea isn't to allow perfect laps, but so you can pick it up and complete a couple more laps at a time.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the domain sorted so I can get the website live with forum etc so all discussions can be moved there.

I've registered the domain now, so I can finally announce it all properly and launch it in the coming days once that's propogated through. So come February 2005 the GP3World Championship will be racing :D

I now have a website sorted out. [www.gp3world.com] is the place to go.
I'm still building the database for driver registrations, but will hopefully be taking them soon.
Also in the works is a forum, which will be up before the end of the week.

impressive site. Is there a penalty for, say, giving rivals a slight nudge when passing them?
