Hi Eric,

I´m astonished about that development with win7-64bit. "configure GPxPatch and GP3 exe to be compatible with Vista SP2" should do the trick
- this could solve Rods problems and bring us the long awaited Season-7 :)))

Yes, I didn't install from CD... Just copied the whole GP3 folder to your new PC and remember the exe configuration mentioned before :)

Also some editors works that way if one can find an installed version somewhere and just copy the folder (GP3Editor/jameditor/careditor etc...)

Hope you succeed :>

Sorry guys, "just copying" a GP3-folder into a "fresh" windows never worked in my case because of missing windows-registry-entries.
After copying GP3-folder I always used "Grand Prix 3 Registrytool" (use google) with it to solve this problem (works 100% for v1.13 and 2000).

cheers!

I will have a test this week end in that case. If it doesn't work, I will have a second try in one week after installing inboard GC driver because I don't have time at the moment. Then if it still doesn't work, I will try pirx tip (hoping I won't need this one and fix the issue B4)

As mentioned in earlier post I can't remember if I did a installation from CD afterwards (don't think so to be honest), but try it out even if it doesn't do the whole installation. And finally I run all exe's as administrator... :>

Well.... That didn't work. :( (at least with GP3, didn't test 2000) I will have a deep look next week .
But shlund, I guess you installed first the game on your comp to have all the keys installed in regedit as said pirx previously and later just reinstalled a copy of your folder.
