Iaquinta,mate with this resolution 1600x1200,how much is setting FPS in the graphic options?and wich monitor you've got?it's 4:3 or 16:9 and wich brand it is?thanks

30FPS. Got an ASUS VW222 (22'' with 16:10.

Anyone got/know of a decent graphics for the following spec or any advice on how to optimise performance with this spec please?

LAPTOP
Celeron Dual Core T3000 @ 1.8GHz

Oh, yes, iaquinta! Your cfg file is very good. I remember that it solved my problems some times ago, keeping good graphics in game. I remember that mines are based on yours.

Thanks, that's nice to hear, mate! Do you still remember what you've changed? I'm sure mine is far from perfect, but is still having a good balance beetween graphics and performance.

i have a ATI RADEON HD 5800 SERIES.
what screen resolution do you use and is there anyone using the same video card?

Just try my graphics.cfg. You can easily change the resolution. You just have to open the file with the editor and change the second and third lines if I remember right.

I've uploaded an updated f1graphics.cfg based on my first version and some updates from Excalibur (Thanks!). You can get it here: [forum.4racers.de]

I also have another one that has the same high settings from the main view in the mirror view and video walls, but as you may guess the graphical improvement isn't really huge and it takes much performance for this. That's why I haven't uploaded it.

Hey guys, I'm attempting to run GP4 on my laptop for the first time.

I have it running fine but I'm finding that the graphics suck.

Would anyone be able to advise me on what would be a decent graphics file for a machine with these specs?
