Hockenheim 2005 update beta [released]

Hi folks,
just another quick made update. I'm leaving on vacation for one week tomorrow and after the Interlagos hi-res update it wasn't worth to start the Shanghai update when having only two days. So I made a small update for Hockenheim 2005 by shutt1e. I improved some stuff but don't expect it to be complete - it's far away from complete - that's why it is a beta version.

IMPORTANT: You first need to have the "HOCKENHEIM TRACK FOR GP4 VERSION 1.0 Final by shutt1e" installed.

Here a list of improvements:
a few low res. textures replaced by high res. textures
modfied .col file: all runoff areas behave like tarmac surface now
modified .dat file:
- new cc-line (more friendly to keyboarders)
- new trackside cameras
- new JipMappings in pitlane and on track
difference between "default" and "realistic 2005":
- default: default split time and pit limiter on/off positions
- realistic 2005: original positions of split times and pit speed limit on/off

Concerning copyright/permissions I can only say: As shutt1e was so kind to allow new improvements and a new release without his permission I of course do also. Fell free to modify this track and then release again. But if you use Caelen's hi-res textures get first his permission, please. Anyway, that's a beta and I will do a greater update with 2005 pit order and other nice stuff in the next time.

Special: As many people are asking me by email about the Shanghai cc-line, I have included (+track cameras) it in this update.

@Karan: Maybe you could upload it also to Dragon Racing. When I get finished the greater update/final version you can delet it again.

Well, as I said I am going on holiday for one week tomorrow. I'll probably have access to the internet and so I'll be on the forum. But I won't work on further updates next week - just taking a break When I come back next sunday I'll have new power and start the Shanghai update as the China GP is approaching. After that I'll return to Hockenheim 2005 to complete it.

I made too an update high res Hockenheim 2005 a few weeks ago. I'm gonna noticed on the third screen [i4.photobucket.com] by Ruboy, that the Panasonic logo is upside down. Not mine. So I'm gonna send the tex to Ruboy or someone else to fix the bug. If you want my complete version and the one of the H R of Sepang, Nurburgring, A1-Ring (you've already downloaded my Indianapolis) the high resolution track "collection" will be complete. But let me know and 1) I asked Caelen permission for some tex (others are mine) and 2) I will look for a web space. It's up to you.

I've got a problem in that the cars still follow the old track layout and not the new circuit. I've installed the shutt1e track and then the beta update and i'm using the 1986 mod with CSM. Can anyone help?!!

Don't use CSM, or you update the circuits folder (I think) in GPSAVES>Data>Circuits

Yep, if using CSM put the circuit dat file in the carsets/circuit file and rename it so it overwrites the current circuit, works fine for me.

I can only find broken links and gp4italaia has got the transfer limit, i ve never got a file from there.
