GP4 hangs up !!!!!!!!!!

Hi !

I have a f***in bad problem :
When I´m driving Gp4 always hangs up my computer during the race.
I can do whatever I want: Starting on different tracks,trying other cars,always the same !
Does anybody know how I can fix it,cannot drive a race until finish flag !
I´m using the modified GP4.exe with only lod_0 !!!
Is it the Gp4.exe or something else ?
The other thing is that I always have a PO from 80-100 and if I only change one thing in the graphicsettings I have a PO from 2000 up to 4500 !!!
What is it ?

Try to change the exe or reinstall the whole thing. It will always help.

or try something less drastic first and show us your logs

I´ve reinstalled the whole thing ten times !!!
And it doesn´t change anything !

If I change one little thing like the fps it kicks the PO up to 2500-4000 and I always have some strange things like red or green things on the car.
Maybe a graphic problem...
How can I show you the logs of my gpx ?

if you are using xp or 2k3 then you can try to set the exe to windows98 compatible mode. simply rightclick on your gp4.exe en go to the compatibility tab.
that solved a lot of issues for me.

as for the weird graphics and high po.
did you delete your f1graphics.sav when you reinstalled gp4? because it doesn't install that file. it recreates it. and it sounds like it doesn't like your system.
if so, then try to move that file to another folder (like your desktop) and try to do the same with your f1graphics.cfg.
it will automatically generate a new one for you. and if it got worse you can copy your old files back

Tried the thing that Zaz said, but it didn't change something for me....got the f*ckin' problem too while driving a race. After two or three laps the game just crashes.....
