Yes. Car Geometry was set to High, Texture Detail was set to High also.

I tried the wad again and rn the game with no drivers selected in Practice.
I then checked each car and found that the only the following cars were white:

Toro Rosso
Williams
Sauber - Only the car suspension and and wheel hubs
McLaren

I did find an Installing guide in the download section and it mentioned the texture files.
I will check to see if these are missing from the wad file.

Did you rename all textures or only the cockpit (cp_) textures?

You only have to rename the lods according to the 2001 team order, e.g. mercedes to ferrari etc.

@Seanmileuk: One thing: Never rename cars textures because their names are assigned to the cars shapes. But as Kedy said, you can rename the lods... or the easier way is to use Team Editor to reoder teams without modifying lods names.
Then, rename cockpit textures regarding your new team order...

I only renamed the lods and didn't touch any tex files. I may have omitted some textures when I created the wad file.

Thanks to all who responded. My updated wad is now working perfectly as 2015 season.

It appears it was the missing tex files that was causing the errors.

Only one minor problem - how to give the drivers their correct helmets as viewed in T-Cam.

Can TeamEditor adjusts the drivers helmets? May have a look at using that.

Look at your cars order. Concerning the drivers helmet: driver1_1.tex & driver1_2.tex is the helmet of the first driver (first team, car 1); driver2_1.tex & driver2_2 for car 2 (first team) etc... So, rename the helmets textures driverX_1 & driverX_2 to match with the correct cars (driver1_ to driver23_). Team Editor can adjust the positions of the helmets only, not to reorder their textures.

And a last important thing: Once done, don't forget to put the textures for driver 9, 10 and 21 into your Infogrames / Grand Prix 4/ cars folder also.

I'll do that tomorrow as it's nearly 10:30pm now in UK.

I will use TexResizer 3.1 to check which drivers the relevent tex relate to and rename
and redo the car.wad file.
Any progress so far on the McLaren MP4-30 Austria spec?

Well, unfortunately, I didn't find the time to improve it since Silverstone... Maybe I will release the beta version of the MP4-30 Austria version before the Hungaroring, tomorrow or saturday... It means that just the end of the nose will be modified.

McLaren Honda MP4-30 B, Austria version released 1st post

Still a beta version, though. I will fully update the car if I get time (side nose improvements, new vortex near the mirrors- Hungaroring version)

Known bugs: You may have to push the car yourself....

Now McLaren, Red Bull, Williams and Toro Rosso are the push-button noses on the current grid ;) Because IMO these noses from the cars look like a push button (why I'm saying "push button" isn't to be confused with Jenson Button ever ;) )
