there's no way to decompile the exe then?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
I would say that they use the CInfo extention of GPxPatch to get the overlay image to appear. The same way people get other TV logos and the F1 logo in the bottom left of the screen.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
I meant to say, it might require complete re-coding. I don't know whether the lights are controlled by the gp4.exe or some other part of the game. I figure that Lo2k or Madman would know more about it than me.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
can the liveries be converted to work with 1.13? Cause thats what I'm afterby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
This will probably sound reeeaallllyyy stupid, but how different is a GP4 .dat to a GP3 one?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
Has someone done a 2001 carset and if so does anyone know from where I may acquire it. I've just looked in the downloads section, and I can only find about 4 teams so... Any help is much appreciated. Cheers guys, Bernie.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
wow. I take it its gonna be released when all the maps are there?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
I think it would be possible. BUT it would require almost complete re-coding of the starting lights part of the game and relate it to events on the track......probably amazingly hard, but possible. And before you ask, I have no idea how you do that.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
The starting lights are green during free practice and qualifying sessions, also, during a restart following a full course caution. Aside from that, the lights are off, or red during the start sequence or if there is a red flag during any session. At the end of the pit lane there is a gree light which is lit when the pits are open, a red one for when the pits are closed and (sometimes) a blue oby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
Excellent work as usual Ricardo.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
There's a thread on this in the GP4 Forum, but is it/could it be possible to get the green lights that are on during practice/qualifying sessions in GP3? Cause that would be pretty cool.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
In truth, I won't notice the back ground. Unlike some of you, I watch the road when I'm racing :Pby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
What sort of data about pit stops? If you need it, I can give you the rough schedule for when stops should be made (2, 3 stops etc)by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3

@Ali - Maybe if you releases it as it is now and have the community look at it, maybe together we can find the problem and (hopefully) solve it. Just a thought.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Ricardo, you are a legend.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 4
GPxPatch used to work fine until my PC did something funny and I had to reinstall GP3, since then, GPxPatch crashes every time I try to launch GP3 from it. GP3 works fine if I launch it from gp3.exe, but not from GPxPatch. Below is the GPxLoad log file. I hope someone can shed some light on this for me. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!! Can't wait for the final version. Keep up the excellent work. On a side note, > The map is from racingcircuits.net, the bumpdata and heights are based on the track location, that is near the beach, so I don't know why, but I was half-expecting the grass to be sand. That woulda been cool!by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
no worries, Im always up for a challenge. Can't wait to see your work in action!by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
There's this complete 2002 Track update pack that I have. This is from the Readme F1 Season 2002 Track Pack v1.3 for GP3 v1.13 (HW mode) ====================================================== Copyright (c) Matti Laitinen 2001-2002. All rights reserved. Go to the GPxSet tab, and click on the Session Settings button. There's a box says Qualify Laps, change the number to 3. Then go to the Consecutive CC's line and look across to Sat Qual and change it to three or four (Your choice) and Fuel Laps to 4 (I find that the CC's have a tendancy to pit at the end of their flying lap if you set it to three). Hit OK and then Start GPx andby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Why don't you take a Prost and a recent Minardi skin and sorta merge them together and go from there? Could be interestingby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
I don't know anything either, but I would like to offer up some common-sense solutions. 1) Straighten the entrance and exit to pit lane. 2) Double check the coordinates of all your objects. 3) Take another look?by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
>and is it possible to watch a car qualify form outside the car and see the time ticking? I assume by "outside the car" to mean the onboard car cameras and not the track or chase views. This can be done easily, like Vader said, with GPxPatch. Specifically the GPxSat extension. This replaces the standard GP3 Sky Messages with ones that are like what you would see on an normal Granby Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
Unlike GP4, there is no GP3Tweaker to force the correct '03 Qualifying rules. The best way is to set the number of computer cars out at once during the qualifying session to three or four and limit the number of laps allowed to three. From my experience this is the closest you can get to the 2003 Rules.by Bernie The Bolt - Grand Prix 3
